[b]do you listen to any "underground" or not as well-known/popular korean artists?[/b]


i listen to a lot of "underground" k-artists, and it's usually k-indie that is v lowkey actually. i'll be including my fave song(s) from each of the artist(s) just to promote/acknowledge.

• hyukoh has started gaining popularity v fast and they're def one of my faves.
  
• eddy kim's voice melts my soul.
  
• 10cm - i honestly want to shove recognition up this duo's face qvq they really deserve it.
• giriboy !! !! i absolutely love ! he needs more love tho !
• akmu is unexpectedly yg's babies! lee chanhyuk needs more acknowledgement ! so much potential as songwriter. his voice is also one of my faves cause yo one of the many few guys that harmonize so well imho! ! they're a little more on well-known side tho.
• urban zakapa - this one's been bothering me a lot bcos aaaAh they def need lots more love. also, beenzino is grEat. this was such a good combo.
• clazziquai project - at this point, i'm crying bcos their voices are beautiful and i can't comprehend anymore. my fave is actually romeo n juliet but i couldn't find one w good quality music for it.
i'll stop now, but i hope you guys like them? i'd be happy to hear thoughts on them.

GIRIBOY YESSS. AND IRON <3 I listen to a lot of San E but I think he's hitting mainstream. Oh and ofc I listen to Akmu. Also Lydia from yg. Lover her stuff. Beat Burger of SM. Umm.. Idk if they are less mainstream but yeah lol

Tbh I've never heard of any of those lol. I'm not big on groups who are more underrated partially because it makes me kinda sad. There are a lot of groups who dont receive the biggest fan base though, like Nu'est I guess. I haven't seen many people chatter about them.

I listen to anything at all as long as it sounds good lol. Like, I fell for Giriboi and Iron cause of Show Me The Money 3 and have followed them ever since. Also, AkMu is just bae, they are totally underrated and are soooo cute, love love love their vocals. San E I'm not sure if he's considered mainstream but love his personality and slowly came to love his music too, especially his duets with females. I also listen to JK Tiger and Jang Jae In too. I tend to listen to a lot of under rated bands/people like 100% or Jung Joonyoung (in love with his deep voice like ughhh) but yeah XD..

that's true. i honestly didn't pay attention to nu'est after their debut/face. i don't know, i like them, but i never really got into them. it may also be because i phase in and out of k-pop a lot, and i did phase out somewhere during their debut-ish.

i was going to include san e but yeah, he's rising lil by lil. me you w/ baek yerin is such a cute song mang. it was actually the first song i heard from him since i'd only found him a few months prior to recently and it made me so happy and feel v bubbly yaee. but he is def a great artist.

I have heard of giriboy and Nu'est but I haven't really listened to their stuff. I porb should though lol

The problem with nu'est is that they ran into a scandel really early into their careers and caused a lot of anti feelings too early on so I feel like they probably didn't have a good start off. And their company isn't the most well known either.

Also BtoB doesn't receive a whole lot of recognition either. And I feel like they constantly get overshadowed by vixx but either way I dunno if both are founded as "underground" but most definitely at least a little bit underrated

i've only listened to one urban zakapa song but i plan on listening to more
and NELL is so good guys!!! they're indie and they're song's are so mellow and calming and they're one of my fav bands ^^
john park is also pretty good!
