Jayfeather awoke the next morning to a broom up her back and grapeberry smoothie all over the floor. She was sitting on an upside down bucket, and torn, shredded and ragged stripps of toilet paper fluttered around the cramped area. What... is... going... on...? Jay had no clue, but she was in the stock cupboard, with a broom... Why? She could not rememb... now she could. Great. A wave of tears threatened to spill from her eyes, and by the soreness of them she knew this had happened lots between now and then. Her tail brushed over something soft and Jay gripped onto the won cuddly toy, releasing more strangled sobs. The toy was soaked, so she had done this before. Oh for the love of Wolves. She knew she looked like an idiot, and she had a wing cramp. Time to leave. But without looking, she just knew she looked a silly state. In vain she removed the broom and scrubbed her face with torn tissue. Then, with as much dignity as she could manage, she left the hall, and headed for her room. Even in the spacious corridors of the school she felt locked in, trapped after a LONG night in. And with the toy tucked under her arm, she looked a sorry state, attracting stares from her fellow Angels. Great. Just great... She glared at them before walking to her tower.

She shared a tower with Isobel, Roxey and Magesty, each with their own rooms. Opposite was Shane and Bolto, leaving two empty rooms. One was a stock cupboard where they could find what they needed. The other was a boys room.He had not come yet. Jay saw Izz and Roxey look at her in shock, and as another wave of tears threatened to spill, she ran into her room, locked the door, and flung herself onto her bed. She held her little fox, her 'lucky' green dog and her new toy close, while Lucky licked her tears away soothingly. Pulling herself together, she went to her en-suit bathroom and rubbed at her face till she looked normal, changing her clothes after. She went to the post room, only to find it was already in use... by three pranksters!

A sack in the corner shifted as Jay walked in, so she opened it to see Willow curled up tight with a can of Easy-Squeezy-Cheesy stirng in her paw. Willow looked up and grinned.
Oh... hi Jayfeather. Was not expecting you to *sneezes* be here... ~Willow.
I can say the very same, Willow. What are you even doing curled up in a post sack with squirty cheese? ~Jay
Urrrrmmm... wait a sec and I'll tell you... ~Willow
Jay watched as Willow climbed out the sack and opened a large box to the side letting Jazz and Skyler climb out.
Okay... I want answers. What the Wolfie hell is going on in here? ~Jay
*looks at the others* Well... we were just planning a small little prank... nothing huge but... well... Skyler? ~Jazz

Willow dived head first back into the sack and pulled it shut. Jazz and Skyler flung themselves back into the box. Jay flew up and hid in the shadows of the very top shelf... and Shane entered...

Isobel sat around waiting as 3 new students came in to be sorted. It was gonna be lame as Jay and Shane, along with Jazz, Skyler and Willow were missing. Odd...

Jay cowered as Shane walked in and tripped over a rope. Wait! What! How comes she had not tripped? This is uncanny, this is strange. It got worse! Shane went to his message hole and found a box.
What is a box doing in here? Maybe my sister has a heart after all!~ Shane
Big mistake. He opened the box and a smoke bomb set off. Shane tried to duck but found he was trapped with the smoke. Then Willow lept from the bag and spayed him with cheese, Jazz and Skyler tied him up with some very convenient long liquorice. Jay wished she could help so she found a convenient giant spoon and fork and chucked them at his face.


Shane went very red and hot and began to yell, his paws glowing black and gold. Jay felt protective of her friends and dived, smacking Shane. In the haze of the smoke she fled, and in her room lay, watching him run outside to be with his precious Magesty...

Jay looked out of the window of her room to where Shane was teaching Magesty this new move to do with his light power and sighed. Since THAT GIRL had come to the school, Shane spent so much time with MAGESTY, leaving her in the cold. She only wanted to see him alone everyday or something but SHE was always in the way. Jayfeather took a deep breath, and removed the evil thoughts from her mind. Now was NOT the time to be mean. Just give Magesty a chance, she told herself, and all will be fine. She went over to her bookshelf, and from under this, took a spare blanket. It was not cold, but the blanket comforted her somehow. Then from her chest of draws removed two smallish boxes, opened one marked Shayfeather and pored through the things inside.

Jay stroked the feather contentedly and looked out the window again. Shane was talking to Magesty when... NO NO NO NO!!!! SHE leaned in and kissed him. HE did not pull away. SHANE was kissing FLIRTY MAGESTY!!!

Jayfeather had the biggest wingspan in the school, so she flew over them with deadly speed and silence. About 5 meters away she landed in a Bush and realized just HOW MUCH Isobel's stalking motions had rubbed off on her. Shane and Magesty (Shanesty?) moved away for breath and started laughing. This set off Jayfeather's tears. Once they started they WOULD NOT STOP! Somewhere the bell blared for Outside Social Time. Well, she could be seen now. She moved to go to talk to the OTHER students, NOT THEM, when Shane saw her and smiled... She stalked over, her eyes still red from crying. The other students sensed a fight, and turned. She took a deep breath, and began.
Oh HI Shane. GREAT to see you. So how's the TRAINING going? Or is it FAKE like you?~Jay
*looks shocked*~Shane
Don't lie Shane. Oh, what the Wolfie hell, I saw you kissing the face off HER! Don't lie Shane The Pain! I cannot take your LIES anymore. YOU said you loved me. Is THAT a lie too?~Jay
What? ~Everyone including 'Shanesty'
Okay, deep breath Jay. Yes I kissed her. No, I do love you!*sees the green sparks in Jays fur*Wait! NO! Jay, don't think you can CHANGE and RUN from this! Come on!~Shane

For the first time Jayfeather found herself controlling her change. Maybe it was because she was so ANGRY and so SAD! But she was changing. She looked at him, tears glistening in her eyes, opened her wings, and surrounded in green light, lifted up.

Shane looked at her in pure confusion and anger. He lifted his right paw, and to everyone's shock, shot light at her. He was so mad at her. A runaway. THAT'S where he made a mistake. He lifted up his LEFT paw, the dark paw, and SHOT dark magic at Jay. He was so full of sudden hatred it was dark purple and red, as fast as light. She did not have any time to react. It hit he. Straight in her heart. Her eyes clouded and her wings folded. Then she dropped like a stone to the ground.
NOOOOOOO!~ Shane
He ran forward and pressed a paw to where the darkness had hit her. He cried out as sh could not remove it. And a jolt of electricity hit him in the paw, then in the back as he moved away. He turned to see Kasley glaring. Her paw was glowing a violent green. So were all the others, but Magesty. Willow, Jazz and Skyler loaded arrows into their bows, Izzy made vines grow and Roxey prepared a sonic boom. Magesty brushed them aside and spoke.

Where did you hit her? ~Magesty

Oh no! I need to tell you this. At least it was not the head. In someways it is alright really. If you hit her anywhere but the head or the heart, you could have shocked her. Or brocken something. The head would have killed her. But the heart... it edits their personality. It may wear off quick. She might become a dork or a loon or a freak for a while. But you were angry. So angry you may have changed her personality COMPLETELY. All of her may change. So shy to confident, single lover to full on flirter. But it could be bad. Really bad. I will tell you how bad, I need to see her now! Move aside peeps, let the EXPERT check her out!~ Magesty
She walked forward. And she stopped.

Shane pushed her to one side and saw a lock of her hair turning black, something rising on her tail, something around the eyes and wings. A bleeding heart tattoo formed on her tail. Her hair shone and turned black as a ravens wing. Thick dark lashes grew around her eyes. The feathers fell from her wings and turned into hooked devil ones. She stood, her eyes closed. Then Jay shook her head and opened them, now a vivid green. Black mist formed around her, changing Lucky her dog, changing the sweet Jay clothes into those of a dark, evils child. It cleared to reveal a figure of perfect evil. And SHANE had done that to her...


She smiled mockingly at Shane. Just as Magesty had said. Shy to confident, single lover to full on flirter, beauty to beauty (nothing changed there) and Good to Evil, Angel to Devil. Even bad she now made all the Angel boys eyes bulge and jaws gape.

And Shane realised something. He loved her Good OR Bad...
