Roni listened to the barking, howling, and whining. Being introverted, the female was loath to accept she could not escape the noise. It brought her back to life on a chain, memories she's tried to repress since she was rescued. Thinking of no other option, Roni isolates herself to the corner of her kennel, covering her ears the best she could. The barking was muffled now, at least.
