He took his time walking over it and admiring the beauty of the still pond, watching the ducks and the lone swan drift about in the water. After crossing the bridge on the other side he made his way to the cafe just in time for opening. Holland was the manager there after the previous manager had graduated and moved away and he very much enjoyed coming to open every day. Unlocking the doors and flipping the small chalkboard sign to open he slipped behind the counter and into the back room for his apron.
After tying his apron and flipping on the lights and the coffee machines he got to work wiping off the tables and making the place presentable. One of the main reasons he enjoyed this job so much was the feel of this place, homey and welcoming with the smell of recently roasted coffee beans and fresh, sweet pastries. To the left of the counter were a few wooden tables and chairs and to the right were some arm chairs and two couches surrounding a short wooden and very rustic coffee table. Along the edge of either side of the cafe were bookshelves full of books and newspapers as well as magazines and artwork done by students of OWL. The front of the cafe had large windows and a few high tables and chairs that allowed a perfect veiw of the pond and the park.
