She nodded lightly. My sleep was fine... she trailed off.

He shrugged. It was fine I guess... he took a bite of his fresh kill.

FeatherFlight looked curiously at oakstar and darkstorm then jumped on a mouse killing it in her paws and lays down as she eats

Sprucewind and Shadowpool ate a mouse silently. The siblings usually didn't talk, but were extremely close.

xxxxxxxxHe nodded. "I'm assuming so." He replied. The she-cat seemed nice, albeit lonely. "I'm not too good at hunting, though, if we're being honest." Swallowflight laughed nervously. Interacting with other cats was difficult for him, even now. "So, uh, how goes it? Being a medicine cat apprentice, that is."

"I guess it's alright.. I suppose." she mewled, unsure of herself. It was great being a medicine cat apprentice! But going out to go train and train with other apprentices? "I mean I guess it just isn't fun, remembering herbs by name and scent."

xxxxxxxxSwallowflight thought for a moment. "But won't it be worth it, in the end? While it may seem boring now... One day, you'll not even have to think twice on what herbs to get to treat an injury or illness, right?" It was often he tried an optimistic outlook towards other cats, especially the younger ones. Swallowflight supposed that perhaps it was due to having a younger sister, the sole survivor of his parents' last litter. He, too, had been the only survivor of his litter. He had to look out for his younger sister, and he supposed that must've changed him along the way. With her gone, along with his parents, a void had been torn in him. His optimism lurked there, in a manner of speaking. Trying to patch up holes, to almost feel like he was looking out for and helping his younger sister again. Younger cats simply reminded him of what he'd lost.
