Almost 15 years ago, this village
was not lost, no, it was in fact
bustling and full of promise. It's
success too much to handle for
neighboring cities and manors,
for one in particular, Lingmill.
The nobles who watched over
and controlled Lingmill warped
from being in power, were now
sinister and would do anything
for the wealth Arcton was
basking in. They sent in an
army of secret police and militia,
supplied with weapons any of
them desired and an excess of
fire and magic. The army was told
to do destroy the village by any
means necessary.The Village was
silent, the only sounds breaking it
were the cracking of the flames
and the cry of small children,
the secret police laughed at them,
they were the few survivors. One
of the magic wielding police had
become drunk with power and
announced to his fellow guards
that he would lock away these
few children in the remaining
sound buildings, and that they
would be trapped for eternity,
only to be released by their
Soulmate. They laughed with him
knowing that the children would
never be able to escape because
no one would venture to the
village ever again. The Lingmill
public were not told about what
truly happened, only that Arcton
remained as ruins, and the village
was soon forgotten all together.

The children who survived the attack on Arcton were cursed to never leave the building they were lockd into and to never be seen by anyone except their soul mate until the cursed was broken. Unintentionally the secret police cursed them in such a way that the buildings never rotted and the children never grew hungry, the cursed can see each other which lead to confusion at first about if they were each others soulmate. A soulmate is not limited to one type of relationship, soulmates can be best friends, lovers or anything inbetween.

A group of friends native to Lingmill are traveling the forest, they happen upon the lost village of Arcton. They decide to explore the ruins, all the buildings are either run down or empty, until they see someone in the window.

Rules

two. This is somewhat a "relaxed" semi lit, so post at least 3 lines, preferably more but I understand writers block as I get it quite often.
three.no more than three characters, and you can't be all one type of character it would have to be either : 1 trapped soul + 1 wanderer + 1 other or 1 trapped soul + 1 wanderer.
four. be active, post at least twice a day and give notice if you will be gone/ leaving
five. all genders and sexualities encouraged, i'd prefer this not to be all straight soul mates
six. please make your own form and post it here
seven. try to keep genders even, it has nothing to do with matches but it's ridiculous if there are 7 girls and 2 boys or vice versa.
eight. feel free to suggest anything for plot or drama, drama is encouraged! also don't be afraid to ask me a question about this rp c:
nine. all slots need to be filled before I make openings for new characters
ten. I may add new rules if I think of/ forgot to out something here, I will probably let you know but be sure to check here periodically anyway
eleven. almost forgot to mention, everyone has a power or two, and some of the cursed souls transform into something else at night
twelve. reservations on trapped souls and wanderers last 24 hours, reservations on others have no time limit

or someone from best friend two can fall in love with someone in platonic one if that makes any sense?

trapped souls in situations like the one above can fall for one another and so can wanders but only in the above situation, thy will be labeled as non soul mate pairs and only other characters and characters from the best friends and platonic pairs can be involved in non soul mate pairs,
