Jade's eyes flung open as the hunter drew the pistol up, and before the canine could react, she fired. The Timber wolf turned to run in an effort to avoid the bullet, but let out a high pitched yelp as the bullet hit her flank. She tripped over her own paws, before stumbling down, lying in the grass, wheezing. She clenched her teeth, trying so hard not to shift and hold her hand over the wound to stop the bleeding. But at this point she didn't really care, and her vision slowly began to become blurred as she wearily lifted her head up, looking around, almost forgetting where she was, before sighing deeply, knowing there is probably no other way out of this now.She let her head fall down against the grass, before closing her eyes, meeting a black void.

Diana was about to put another bullet in the downed beast, but thought better of it. It wasn't much fun killing an unconcious anything, wolf especially, and besides, she had her orders: capture if possible, kill if necessary. After pulling a bandage out of her pocket and wrapping her leg up, the navy SEAL walked over to the prone form of her opponent, slinging the beast over one shoulder. "Well, on one hand," she said, mostly to herself, "More of them might come for this one. On the other, I have to live with a murderous werewolf for the rest of the mission." Sighing and squaring her shoulders, Diana set off for the small cabin on the edge of the forest that served as her base of operations. "Hey, if you're still half-awake or something in there," she remarked to the wolf, "I'd appreciate it if you went human again. You ain't exactly the lightest thing in the world."

Jade blinked awake, hearing something from the hunter about shifting into a human. She didn't know if this would be a trap to prove that she's a Wolf Blood, or that the hunter already knew, but she obeyed, twitching her ears before shifting. She glanced at the hunter, not saying a word. She didn't know what to say. No humans had ever seen her shift before, and she doesn't know quite what to make of it, that now someone knows what she looked like in her human form. The Wolfblood suddenly spoke up.
"Why are they after my species?"

"Oh, good, you are one of them," Diana said without looking over at the woman. She looked about ten years younger than her, give or take, though that might not be the case. Who knew how werewolves aged? "Thought I'd bagged another wolf again. I dunno why they're after you, I'm just following orders. Nothing personal. Think you can walk without running away?"

Jade blinked, glancing at the sky before looking around. She was slightly troubled with the way Katy had acted. But she was always like that, back at the old pack. Wild. Free. But even then she had a strange, darker side whenever she got possessed. But one day it seemed to stop. Jade sighed. "Yeah, I think I'll be able to handle it." She gave a slight smile, remembering all the memories of the old pack, but they soon vanished as she heard the cry of a large bird of prey cut through the air. The Wolf Blood wondered what was ahead of her.

Diana wasn't sure if she trusted the woman not to run, but she also knew she wouldn't get far carrying her, especially not with a bullet in her leg. Besides, the more the werewolf trusted her now, the lower the likelihood of her waking up with her throat torn out later. Setting the werewolf down and pulling out her pistol again, Diana set off once more for her base. "Follow me," she said, beckoning with her free hand. "Try to run, and I shoot you. Got it?"

Katy turned around hearing the shrill 'Bang' of the gun followed by the innocent 'yelp' of the canine. She wanted to part off and leave the scientist's lab and the danger behind, but something inside put a smile on her face and made her load up both guns, she actually felt thrilled a little bit. She went back to the scene, seeing that there was a young looking girl bellow the hunter. She lowered her firearms and tilted her head to the left Wait.. There was JUST a wolf there.. this girl even smells like the wolf.. is she just like me? was she made in a lab? she asked herself mentally. Katy decided to walk right out into the open to the girl and turned her around to face her, she frowned sniffing her and suddenly small chunks of memories came back to her all at once, she held her hand over her head and began moan in pain and whinnied slightly looking back down at the girl. Her sister. She looked back down trying to remember something about the girl

The loner blinked as she was put down, before following the human. Once again, her mind was distracted as memories came back. She shook them away with a shake of her head, before continuing on. She suddenly heard rustling, and saw Katy walk straight at her and the hunter. Jade was about to reply to the human, but her sister suddenly began to sniff her strangely. She wanted to ask her what happened and if she remembers her, but that would give the game away that she was a wolf blood too.

Katy pulled back her hair from her left white wolf eye using both her eyes to look at Jade. She leaned in closer sniffing her still, she remembered the slightest memory of Jade and her playing tag in the forest but it was jumbled up and had missing pieces. She suddenly looked up at the sky seeing building materials fall towards her, she got her guns and shot them rapidly up at the sky, but it was all just a piece of her memory coming back. She hissed staring at Jade covering her left eye again.

From the moment the other girl emerged from the forest again, Diana's gun was trained on her. Something was definitely off about this girl, and it wasn't just the fact that she was alone in the woods with a gun. "So, you, uh, want something?" She asked tentatively as the girl went into some kind of mental breakdown. "Like, a psychiatrist or something?" The way this girl was acting, the soldier knew she should probably bring her in too, but she wasn't really sure how to do it. Between the guns and the explosives, she wasn't even sure she could get close to her.
