Moonpaw nodded and looked around curiously, listening for other cats. "Say, what happens if cats do decide to attack us?" She meowed thoughtfully.

Claytail thought for a second. "Right now, I would send you back to camp to get other cats out here while I hold them off for as long as I can." He looked around. "Maybe in the future, we would fight them off ourselves..."

Moonpaw looked at Claytail with worry and flicked her ears. She knew he wouldn't do well against several cats, he even just said so. "Well then, I'll run faster than any cat ever has then hurry back with warriors!" she meowed then swished her tail. "I know when I'm a warrior we would definitely give them a fight to remember! Then they wouldn't dare come back to Shadowclan Territory!" She giggled.

Claytail smiled. "We would do our best," he replied, smiling at his apprentice. He had no idea how long he could last if a group of cats attacked them. He would be relying on Moonpaw to alert the clan if he died defending the border. He had no illusions that he would not die in a massive attack. "One day, we would give them the fight of their lives."

Scarlet grinned at the reply, nodding her head eagerly. This was the perfect chance for her to show the leader of the clan what she could do. Of course, her mate had showed her a few things, but she still wasn't the best fighter. Not yet at any rate. Perhaps someone would show her some more moves later on. "Im ready!" She mews, waiting for Featherstar to lead the way.

Rose Bullet gave Dagger a quick lick on his ears to rouse him from his sleep before padding over to Tiger and Silent. She prodded them with her paw until they looked at her with groggy eyes. When they all finally got to their paws her and Dagger led them past scent markers, and deeper into the forest to catch prey.

Dagger split up with Tiger to find at least something to share. They padded along silently still trying to carefully remember where they split up so that they could meet again in the same spot after hunting.

Rose Bullet and Silent stepped carefully in case there was a nearby mouse they could catch. Their blue eyes scanned the area for any sign of prey.

Looking around, Featherstar made sure everything in camp was alright. "Tigereye, Nightshade, you two watch camp while I'm gone." She meowed. She would have to pick one of them as deputy soon. She shook her head to clear it. That was for another time. "Come on Scarlet." She meowed as she padded to the entrance of the camp leading out to the forest.

Moonpaw purred in agreement before looking at the sky. "It's getting late, Claytail. Should we save the rest for tomorrow?" She asked.

He nodded and looked around for nightshade. He liked being Deputy but he needed to step down and he wanted to talk to her about it. He wanted to be a father one day and the pressures of leader would cause him to lose time with his kits when he had them.

Nodding back to his mentor he watched him be interested in something else he ran off to see his mother. He was so happy and couldn't wait to start training but knowing patience is important he would patiently await Tigereyes call.

He padded over to his apprentice. "We will start training when Featherstar returns and I step down as Deputy." He said to Jaypaw.
