kodiak padded through the dry forest. the trees looked dry and dusty. kodiak panted, his dark russet eyes scanning the area before him. his paws were dusty and dry from walking through the dry forest. he spotted a shimmer of water. it seemed just looking at gave him energy. water. he did all he could to stop himself from yipping with happiness. he walked towards the water source. it was the river, more like the stream. he plunged his muzzle into the water and drank thirstily. he waded in, letting the water lap at his back. he wanted have to come back and tell the pack about the water source.
he waded out of the river and not bothering to shake his pelt to dry. the sun would take care of that. he looked around for prey. the pack would need energy. a lot of the animals had went away to find water. he spotted a scrawny vole. he pounced quickly, his paws closing onto the little animal. he dipped his head and snapped it up into his maw. he began walking back to the pack. it was hot and he wanted to tell them about how the river was still flowing good with water. he hoped it would rain some. he looked up at the clouds and almost dropped his prey. the storm clouds were heading in. he was about to clash through the forest to warn his pack-mates, but he knew his pack would figure out. he calmed down and keep padding through the forest. when he got to camp, he dropped his vole into where they stored the prey. he laid down in the den, waiting for everyone to wake. he saw the healer walking around the edge of camp. he stopped a snarl from rising in his throat. the healer was never friendly. he would have to keep an eye on him.

liberty was crawling between two big boulders, her blue optics on the butterfly. she was crouched, waiting for the butterfly to come in closer... "got you!" she yelped, jumping at the buttery. her paws closed on nothing and she dropped back down. the butterfly landed on her nose. she sat down, trying to look at it. she pawed at her nose and the butterfly flew off. she bounced after it. "bye!" she called as the butterfly flew away. she laid down, with her back to the ground. she batted at the sky with her paws. "a storm is coming," she told the butterfly, who was still flying around were liberty was. she rolled over and looked at the butterfly. it came over and landed on her nose. she padded to her den, without disturbing the butterfly and laid in her den. "now if it rains, we will be safe," liberty said, curling up in her bedding. the butterfly flew off and landed on the edge of her bedding. she took a closer look at the butterfly. it was black and blue. she pushed out a paw towards the butterfly and the butterfly landed on her paw. "we should name you... how about ice?" the butterfly fluttered her wings as if it was saying yes. "ok, ice it is," she declared.

The young female flicked her tail softly as she lay down in the dirt. It was extremely hot, she got a little more tired panting softly as her black fur made the heat collect more in her body. She let out a soft sigh as she softly listened to the sounds around the pack, she let out a soft blink before sighing softly as she moved into a crawl. Looking up to the sky as the female began thinking, she was quite a depressing female at least that's how she felt most of the time. Her thick black tail curling around her legs as she looked around, from the forest scent it seamed to be like it would be raining soon. Softly she sighed again pinning her ears down again as she softly thought about the family she lost. At first it was her little sister Rudi, after that it was her brother Odolf, soon after that her mother passed away, and then she lost her brother. The only one who was still alive was her sister who left to start a new pack. Although as she moved softly licking her muzzle she softly looked up at the wolves in her pack. Running her tongue over her muzzle again as she looked around the camp, she saw the packs healer Koa. She was unsure about the brute but she had saw nothing that would make her question him in any way. She moved closer to him respectful lowering her head as she looked to him, "Hello Koa, do you need anything?" she asked softly swishing her tail as she looked to him respectfully.

The four year old brute lifted his head softly before licking his muzzle as he swished his tail softly. Letting out a small sigh before thinking softly, there where a few wolves that were awake. Some were moving about and others were still kinda sleeping around, he sighed softly listening to the sounds of the forest. There would be a large rainstorm sometime today and he was ready for it, the brute always liked rain and storms. Pinning his ears down again before letting out a soft sigh as he sighed, Convel let out a annoying sigh before letting out a soft sigh. He scented the air moving softly into the forest, he was heading out to check to see if any other lone wolves were around. He moved his muzzle around blinking softly he was a bit lonely in the forest before he moved softly licking his muzzle. Ears pinned back as he moved again closer to the deep forest, it was dry and cracking leafs and grass crunched under his paws. He was softly annoyed by the dryness of the forest and doing this was not fun in any way he just hoped the rain would come soon.

The lead healer had gotten up a little earlier than usual that day. She figured that because the sun was barely showing when she popped her head out of the den. Most of the time Cherry would get up as soon as the sky was stained wth reds and purples, a few stars and the moon still showing if she was lucky. But this morning it was pitch black, yet only a few stars showed. She was used to this morning routine ever since she stepped up her game to be the lead healer. She wanted to be up extra early in case someone got hurt or sick. Cherry was always a hyper and outgoing wolf at heart and she had always wondered if the Alpha made her the lead healer because of this. After all, the previous healer was quite crabby and often wouldn't treat you if she didn't feel like it. The female shrugged to herself as she padded through the territory, letting the morning thoughts come in and disappear over time.

It was a couple of hours later, but it certainly didn't seem like it. The sun couldn't be seen through the thick storm clouds and Cherry was feeling mixed feelings. She had always loved the rain, but storms brought many problems which could lead to injuries. Cherry sighed softly as she made her way into camp. She spotted the Alpha Male out of the corner of her eye and decided to talk to him about her concerns. She dipped her head respectfully before raising it to murmur softly, "I'm worried that the storm might lead to many injuries. Perhaps we should confine everyone to the camp, just for today or at least make sure everyone is going out with someone with them." Cherry wasn't her usually peppy self and worry laced her voice, but she tried not to show it.

Terza turned her gaze to KOA, she slowly walked to him. Giving him the wet moss from the river, "Someone, else was gonna do it. B-ut...they made me do it" she said. Her body trembled from feeling his presence near, her jaw shivered as she slowly set the moss down. Quickly her ears went down, her tail went under and her gaze on the ground. Showing him respect, alot of it.
