I think he was referring more to how
long the kid lived after the incident occured, considering the severe brain/head damage, emotional trauma, and blood loss.
Yes, it is possible to live without a frontal lobe, but with the way the incident took place it was almost assuredly going to kill him regardless of what the hospital staff did.
I mean, a
robot literally took a chomp at the kid's head; kids' skulls are still pretty soft and easily damaged, and the brain is no better. Even slight skull damage can cause serious, if not fatal, damage to the brain. And then take into account the massive amounts of blood lost, and you have a recipe for one kid on his death bed.
(And you can call them animatronics all you like, but the technical term of an animatronic is a stationary robot with limited movement in a set pattern. The Fazbear cast are not technically animatronics, since they're able to move around freely and do not have true set patterns of movement.)
