They were raised to believe that if you didn't have a mate and kits by 13 moons you were a disgrace.

Dawnpelt shook her self waking from her nap. Yawning she padded out of the warriors den down to the fresh kill pile grabbing a mouse 'i should ask Rubystar if she wants to send out a hunting patrol when she gets back' she thought. After finishing her mouse she walked towards the waves then started to groom herself.

Rose Bullet, Dagger, Silent, and Tiger wondered past twolegs into the unfamiliar territory hoping to find some prey that they could catch to fill their aching stomachs.

the shecat sat down, awaiting nighwhisker's reply patiently. she scanned the camp silently, noticing russetpelt a few fox-lengths away
bathing in some sun. shaking her head, she returned her attention back to her leader and nightwhisker.

"Yeah!" Nightwhisker nodded with his words. "Let's head out, then." He said and waited for Rubystar to set off before he did. It was polite to wait for the leader to, and Nightwhisker wanted to be as kind as possible to his crush.

Larkpaw grinned. "Yeah, sure." She said and pushed Birchpaw off. She hissed playfully and flicked her tail, before bursting off towards the forest. She stopped for a moment to make sure Birchpaw followed then kept running.

at her in a strange way. shrugging it off, she faced forwards once more, awaiting rubystar.

she nodded. padding out of camp she lead the small patrol to the area where she'd first heard the noise. the area was
surrounded by brushes and shrubs, which made sense. it was the perfect hiding area if you masked your scent. she flicked her tail towards
the area," here is where i originally found the scent." she meowed. by now the scent was growing stale, but it was still noticeable.
