▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ the loud, deafening barks of canines sounded behind. angry snarling and shouting slicing through the cold air, as a large, thick-pelted timber wolf ran for it's life. a variety of it's domesticated counterparts chased after their wild ancestor, the lead dog's jaws snapping angrily at the wolf's tail.
jade's gaze was staring bleakly ahead, trying to block out the barking and shouting. one wrong move, and she would meet her death. the loner clenched her teeth, as a fallen tree came in vision ahead. she dipped her head down before driving all her strength from her legs, lunging over the log. success. jade dared glance back to see if any of her pursuers were still following. the confused yapping of the smaller dogs gave her an answer. but she didn't want to risk anything. the wolfblood continued, claws scrabbling, making that annoying scratching sound against the terrain, as she struggled to get a grip. suddenly a heavy weight bore down on her, ramming into her back before pinning her down. jade let out a low, threatening snarl of defiance, snapping harshly at the canine's muzzle. she frowned as it looked like an wolfhound. it bore it's yellowish-white teeth in a snarl in reply, before sinking them into her shoulder. jade gave out a yelp, wincing in pain, before clamping her jaws around the side of the wolfhound's face, teeth digging in. the canine didn't gave any motion of letting go, and jade's blood turned to ice as shouting of men came from behind. the wolfblood started to panic, ramming her head into the dog's neck, in an vain effort to escape from it's grip. it whined, before letting go. jade was slightly stunned at how easy it let go. then she realised why.
a tall man came forward, his glare boring into jade. the wolf blood returned the glare, whilst trying to figure out what to do. but then there was nothing to do. 'maybe they just think i'm a normal wolf and that's why they're hunting me...' she hoped. although when you get caught by hunters, you get shot when you're a wolf, when you get caught when you're a wolf blood, you normally get sent to scientists, jade honestly thinks she would rather be dead than be an experiment, not wanting to think about the dreadful tests run on her kind.
and sister.
back at the old territory, she had a younger sister. then one day they both decided to do something stupid, and travelled to the city, and ended in a mess. her sister got killed after a lot of building materials (like metal beams, bricks and other things), collapsed on her, crushing her. she was in her human form then, though, and decided to shift into her wolf, without realising people were crowding around her. later she died, and then was brought to the scientists to find out more information on the wolf bloods. jade had to flee the scene as quickly as she could, and went back to her old pack's camp. members started to leave, and soon jade was on her own. she decided to leave the memories, and has been on the run for over a year.
jade was suddenly brought back to reality as excited barking echoed throughout the area, and she froze as the man had a shotgun. she suddenly felt the strong instinct to run, but another part of her wanted her to stay and fight. her throat began to rumble as her lips peeled back in a low, threatening snarl. the timber wolf twitched as she glared at the hunter as he gave a smirk, lifting up his weapon.

Scientist's gathered around a immense cylinder-like object filled to the top with green substance. Inside it was a young girl hanging from her wrists by shackles and chains was inside the object, her eyes closed. More of people in long white lab coats where gathered around computers and other sort of machinery. The girls fingers twitched once and she tilted her head to the left and opened her right eye keeping the left one closed. She couldn't see at first, it was just all blurry but then her vision became clear. She winced at the sound of the shrill shouting and roaring from the other side of tube. One by one they left the room and turned off the lights and shut the door. Her brown eye looked down upon the computers slowly, and then looked up at the shackles around her wrists. Katy turned around to see pipes coming from her back and through the white baggy lab t-shirt she wore. Suddenly her eye went wide as she realised she wasn't breathing. She began to hiccup and got her feet and slammed them against the glass, panic shot through her as she kept kicking the glass as hard as she could. Finally after one brutal kick she cracked open the glass ever so slightly and kept kicking and kicking until the water flooded out slowly. She coughed up the water that was in her lungs and snarled pulling on the chains and the pipes hooked to her back, with success she broke them lose but the shackles with a few chain links remained dangling from her wrists. She stepped outside the test tube and fell to her knees since it was eight months since she walked. She looked at the machinery and seen guns and knives lined up with " For emergency use only " written above them. Katy took what she needed and looked at the computers which had data stored onto them about her. She took them out of the computers and picked up paper work with data from the last 2 years about her printed on them. " What am I? " She asked herself looking down at her stomach which was extremely bloated from the green substance. She opened the door with the data in on hand and the gun in the other and walked along the corridor drenched in wet. She went around all the rooms of the quite small lab and filled them with a backpack, she also found explosives which where being newly devolped in the weapons lab on the way and set them along the route she went. She ran outside and pressed the button for them to explode and was flung into the forest as it lit up in flames and shook the ground. Katy finally snapped open her other eye which was closed all this time and snarled in anger running into the forest.

It was cold. Really cold. If they'd been back in town, Diana might have been able to bear it, but as it was, lying prone in a bush, a never-ending drip of water falling squarely on the small of her back, she hated it. It wasn't anything life-threatening, it was just annoying. She'd never liked the cold, even back in New York she'd stay inside as much as possible during the winter months. Which was half the year, but still.
As she looked through the scope of her rifle, a Barrett .50 caliber sniper rifle, Diana once again cursed Alaska and all it stood for. It was too cold, there were bugs everywhere, and the whole place was about as inhospitable as the average volcano. It was like Australia, but with snow.
As she sat there, slowly scanning the endless miles of trees, Diana became aware of a commotion to her left. Dogs, from the sound of it, and they were excited about something. If she'd been on any other mission, the SEAL might have ignored them, but she was here to hunt werewolves, as weird as that sounded, so she couldn't afford to let this disturbance go unchecked. She'd already shot several wolves by mistake, but she wasn't going to let that stop her, and besides, it was an excuse to get off the ground and start doing things.
With a soft groan of exertion, Diana lifted herself into a standing position, and began quickly moving towards the disturbance. After cresting a nearby hill, she saw it: One human, one wolf, lots of dogs. She couldn't tell if the wolf was real or not, but still, hunting them was a federal offense, and, target or no, she had to intervene. Slinging her sniper rifle over her back, the soldier headed down the hill, coming to a stop between the man and his prey. "Hunting wolves is illegal in this area," she said, all business now, "And even if it wasn't, I'm fairly certain you don't have a permit. Leave now, and I'll let it slide, this time." She wasn't actually sure if huting was illegal here, but either way, this was a government operation, and this guy needed to stay out of it.

the timber wolf shut her eyes as she heard a loud, echoing bang, and prepared to meet her fate. she felt the cool breeze go through her thick pelt and got ready to meet her mother.
but nothing happened.
jade stood there, waiting, and as each second continued on, she began to go uneasy. her torn ears pricked up in alert as she heard gasps and frightened barking, and looked up, seeing all the hunters focused on something else. she realised in shock it was an explosion. but she had other ideas instead of just stand there, watching before getting killed. the glanced nervously at the hunters to make sure their full attention was on the blaze, but then a woman walked towards the hunters, and told them something. jade wasn't really listening. she was just trying to figure out if the hunter was after wolf bloods, and was taking these hunter's prize, or just giving them advice for next time. she heard some witty retort, before walking off in a sulk, dogs following, yet the wolfhound was still casting jade a few glares. the loner glanced up at the human, blinking.

Katy snarled running her fingers through her wet hair. She covered her white eye with her hair and looked down at her feet which were cut and slashed from kicking the glass. She heard the loud roar of trucks and flash lights flashed on her drenched body, blinding her for a few moments. She faced them and snarled showing her wolfblood fangs. She paused for a second having a tiny flashback of her past, remember that she was a wolfblood and nothing else. She suddenly shifted into her wolf form and picked up the backpack and ran as fast as she could deeper and deeper into the forest. She was overwhelmed with all her new scenes, she picked up a scent of another canine nearby and bolted to the direction of the scent, something made her follow it but she couldn't exactly figure out what, she then seen the dark figures of a wolf and human in the distance from the shadows of the forest. Katy began to pine in pain and shifted into her human form and leaned against a tree, throwing all the green substance from her stomach. She picked up the backpack with all the data in it and walked towards them, forgetting that hunters kill, she still held the gun her hand " Hello, I am a lost person and I need some help getting out of here. " She said casually.

The thick furred, large dark brown Eastern Timber wolf's partially ripped ears flicked, perking up in alert as she heard fur brushing against the tall grass, but it strangely stopped, and she soon heard the clumsy sound of twigs snapping underfoot. Suddenly an old, yet familiar smell hit her. Katy. She thought her senses were playing a trick on her, but she couldn't believe her eyes as she saw her younger kin come through the bushes, drenched to the bone, with a backpack and gun in her hand. She gave out a silent whimper, wanting to burst right at her, shift and hug her and never let go, but she knew she couldn't, even in her wolf form, as it would be quite strange for a wolf and a 'lost' teenager to be friendly, as if they've known each-other all their lives. But something seemed different about her. She didn't appear to be very happy to see her older sister. 'What did they do to her..' Jade thought. The She-wolf glanced up at the hunter, waiting for her response.

Katy heard the scientists in the distance using her supernatural hearing. She was grinning and swaying on her feet slightly as if she was drunk, but of course she wasn't it was the last of the drugs the scientists pumped into her, kicking in. She shook her head trying to keep a straight face, making sure her hair covered her left eye still. " So can you give me directions outta this place? " She asked and her attention was drawn to the wolf, her sister, on the ground below. " Aw look at the little pooch.. " She said scratching her fluffy stomach becoming giddy from the drugs " Aw its sooo fluffy.. " She laughed petting its fluffy chest. " Shouldn't you be running free? " She asked smiling sticking out her tongue facing the wolf directly, her scar riddled face faced the female wolf.
