Bill almost jumped out of his skin as someone approached him, and he prevents himself from floating into the air from shock, instead gripping the tree tightly. "Greetings!" He seems to yell, his trademark grin appearing. "I've been here for many years." He responds, staring back off into the distance.

He understood that look in her eye. Hatred. His smile seems to return, yet he also raises a brow questioningly.

Bill jumps from the tree, leaving the stranger, moving closer to Dakota. She was actually hurting herself, but not experiencing any sort of joy from it? He knew humans could get hurt, and the generally didn't like getting hurt, so why was she doing this. "What are you doing?" He demands.
