"It´s alright," Scarlet giggled and licked his paw. She smiled, continuing to think about what it would be like to be parents of their own pups.

Grim stood, shaking out his pelt and looking into the distance, perhaps even into another time. "We should continue prepping the camp." He said, his tone hushed and just as distant as his gaze.

"Alright," Scarlet replied and dashed around the camp bored. She stopped, looking at Grim before continuing to dash around playfully, knocking the sides of trees. Scarlet giggled, stopping and starting to check the camp. Dens, beds and food. Picking out rotten prey, changing moss and checking supplies for battle if there ever were going to be on. She sniffed the prey, going over each carefully, chucking the rotten pieces towards the camp entrance.

Grim looked to the bad prey, his mind whirling. There were times when he had cherished finding a bit of rotted food, when that was the only thing that had kept him alive. He had developed a resistance to the ill effects of it, if not a taste for the fetid flesh. "We can use that to frighten off larger animals from the training grounds. Bears will stay away if the meat has gone too bad, but if it's not spoiled enough, they will be attracted to it. We can use it as bait until it goes far enough." He sat down, his head cocked to the side in thought.

"Alright," Scarlet replied smiling and continued to separate the food. She carefully inspected each den, making sure they were stable enough as well as be able to fend off the rain. "I need leaves," She muttered to herself and started to flick leaves with her tail into a pile, to press together for a sort of mat like thing for the healer. Scarlet stretched her legs, looking around and starting to push the vines further into the wall.

Grim walked to the wall of the camp, and pressed his paw on it. It rocked a bit, but held steady. "It could use thorns..." He thought aloud, and walked about gathering the sharp tendrils to weave into the outside of the wall. He listened to where Scarlet was on the other side. "Scarlet? Have you ever thought of having pups?" He spoke just loud enough for her to hear him through the barrier.

"Grim, I heard you muttering in your sleep." Scarlet chuckled, remembering him mumbling about pups playing while he slept. "You didn´t know though," She added and looked around and grabbed the thorns in her paw from the ground. She put them in the gaps, humming to herself.

Grim blushed, then smiled. "I do like pups. A lot, actually..." He sighed. He was rarely ever trusted with pups, even if the parents knew him well enough to know he wouldn't hurt one. They were still terrified of him.

"What are you hinting at?" Scarlet asked, pushing the last of the vines into the holes. She yawned, stretching her legs and starting to take off the flowers growing on the vines. "Want me to raid the humans towns for fruit and things?" She asked smiling though she knew Grim couldn´t see.
