naginii walked through the lab, into the room where the DNA was stored. towards the back of the room was a decorated glass coffin. it had solid gold edges, and one person inside. "i wish i could have saved you" she said, to the lady in the coffin. she had auburn hair, and was clutching a single white rose, stained with blood. she was wearing a yellow dress. "that vampire child destroyed everything between us." naginii whispered. "i'm sorry. it killed dad, then i had to tell you what really happened... what i was... then you stopped talking to me, even when i warned you. i'm sorry i couldn't stop it, mom."
naginii left to practise her powers in the woods. she pointed her hand at the nearest tree, and even though it was a calm day, leaves rustled violently in its branches. she used a different power, and it burst into flames. she turned invisible, and snuck up on a deer. she killed it, sucked its blood, then carried on practising.
