Onyx spent her early childhood in Poland, and even though she no longer lives there, she can still speak fluent polish.

is your kia the fight or flight type?
Onyx is definitely the fight type. She´s not stupid though - if there is absolutely nothing to be gained from fighting, she will retreat.

have you based your kias off a person/character/song/series/etc.?
Not really, but some aspects of Onyx´s personality and backstory are based off myself and my experiences.

What country does your kia come from? Can they speak that countries native language?

Billie - Is from Scotland and has retained her accent. English is her first language, although she has a rough understanding of Scottish Gaelic.
Celine - Is from France, and speaks French and English fluently.
Gwen - Is from the US and only speaks English.
Rory - Hah, well... He was raised in the TARDIS so... ? I would suppose English is his first language though.
Avery - From the US. Speaks English and Spanish.
Makatzu - His birthplace is unknown. He is a selective mute.
Avi - From the US and speaks English.
Joan Marie - Was born in England, but her family moved to the US when she was very little. Speaks English.
Prudence - Born in the US and speaks English.
Solaina - I need to figure out where she was born? Idk where her mothers are from OTL But she speaks English!
Levente - From England but currently lives in the US. Speaks English, Latin, French, and Mandarin Chinese.
Xio - Born in the US, but Mandarin is her first language, followed by English.
Psyche - From the US. Speaks English and Gaelic.
Venus - I need to discuss with Clara ;^; But I'm thinking she's from Greece? Speaks English, Greek, and Latin.
Cameron - From the US, speaks English, and a tiny bit of French.
Ferris - From the US, speaks English, and a little Spanish from his Highschool courses.
Sol - Birthplace unknown. Speaks English, Spanish and French.
Andromeda - Born in Canada. Speaks English and French.
Boone - Have to figure out where his parents are from and all that ;^; He speaks English.

Have you based your kias off a person/character/song/series/etc.?

Billie is somewhat inspired by my love of all things nerdy x) Cameron and Ferris are both inspired by their namesakes from the 80s movie 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off' (which is like one of my fave movies ok). Levente is a little inspired by Hange, Armin, and Levi from SnK / AoT, although he is mostly his own person ahah.

Furfur is Lithuanian and speaks the language better than he does English.
Kagayaku is Swedish and grew up in Japan. She speaks both languages as well as quite a few others.
Sonika-Ylva is half Japanese on Megumi's side. She's not fluent but knows some Japanese.
Theta is at least part Greek but only knows a few words.
Cry is American, so English only for her.
Connie is Canadian and speaks English and French.
Quantum is English and speaks English, a little French and some Japanese.
Dia only speaks English.
Sonja is Canadian again, so English and some French.
Vanoan is Korean and speaks both English and Korean.

Kias Open For Roleplays!

Everyone except Akiva is open for roleplays!! Ezra, Seamus, and Finnegan are all taken, but I want them to keep socializing and such, especially the O'Niel boys. I'll open Akiva up once I finish developing him with Vaughn.

Sort of still on an internet hiatus but I was feeling nostalgic about good times on the kia fanclub so I thought I'd answer these for some of my kias c:

What country does your kia come from? Can they speak that countries native language?
Thalassa lost her memory after her drowning accident but she was initially from Hawaii. She used to be able to speak the language but again her amnesia has affected her so that she no longer knows it. (It's highly probable that she'd be able to learn it quite quickly though)

Kifo was born to a very prestigious English family (though he ran away in his early teens and made his way to America) and he does indeed speak english c:

Raphael was born in Ethiopia into the Sidama ethnic group (though he is not only Sidama, his father was American). He does speak Sidamo since during his early childhood he was raised with his ethnic heritage in mind by his mother.

Julian is the son of Raphael and was born in America c: So yes he speaks English.

Elena is Canadian and speaks both English and French.

Have you based your kias off a person/character/song/series/etc.?
The only one who is loosely based on anything would be Raphael xD He was inspired by Hannibal Lecter (via the book series though) but is remarkably different apart from his murderous tendencies (though his motivation and process is different for those).
