He let out a hmph before turning, kicking the mouse carelessly into the fire. He padded from the back entrance and into the forest. He'd show them how a REAL warrior caught prey.

Finchwing hissed as he kicked the mouse in the fire, forgetting how hot it was, he shoved his paw in, scoring of his arm and paw fur, his paw scarred, turning red. He yowled and pulled it out, it pulsed rapidly as small fires still burned on his skin.

Addersong looked outside. When she saw FinchWing with his paw burnt she rushed to get medical supplies.

Driftkit sighed and poked at the dirt. He was really bored and wanted to do something. He blinked and looked at the warrior running around with a burnt paw. he laughed a bit at it.

He turned as he heard a screech, seeing Finchwing stick his paw into the fire. He stiffled a laugh, resisting the urge to yell out "mousebrains" as he pushed his way past the screening of the back entrance, letting out a laugh as soon as he stepped paw out into the forest.

Finchwing let out another yowl as he tumbled to the medicine den floor, landing on his injured paw.

She got some aloe and put it on the burn. She quickly got some poppy seeds and set them out for him to eat so the pain would stop. She got cobwebs and wrapped them around his paw. She got some marigold and chewed it into a poultice and applied it to the burn. "Are you okay? What happened?" she asked calmly.

The tom sighed with relief as the aloe was applied. Hornetpaw kicked a mouse in the fire and I forgot that it was hot and I stuck my paw in to save the freshkill. He licked the poppyseed up gratefully and let the medicine cat do her work.

"I'll have a word with him. Just try not to walk on that paw.." she said.
