Petalflower nods at Ashenthroat's catch. "Good job!" she said proudly. Then she hears about the scent of fox cubs near the border. "Ashenthroat is right." she said. "We need to deal with them. But first, we need to deal with the mother. The cubs wont go anywhere unless the mother is around."

Ashenthroat turned to see her. "It sounds like the cubs are old enough that they are becoming independent- otherwise Emberpaw would have seen or smelled the mother. But, if they are still cubs they will live in the same den as the mother. If we can track the cubs down, we can find the mother and the den." the she-cat noted. She sunk her claws into the ground nervously, the idea of the cubs finding their way to the camp coming into her mind.

Petalflower nods. "First," she said. "We need to figure out where the cubs are. Once we do, we can estimate how old they are. That way, we will know if the mother is around. The cubs may not be a danger to us, but their mother is an experienced fighter and can definitely be a danger to anyone."

Ashenthroat nodded in agreement. She turned to Emberpaw. "Show us where the cubs where exactly, Emberpaw. This is extremely urgent." she told him, her tail lashing. The sooner we find those cubs, the better. she said to herself.

Ashenthroat sighed angrily. Then an idea came to her. "We can follow your scent! If we track the scent trail you left while running, we can find out where the cubs went." she said excitedly.

Swanflight lashed her tail in anger, her lip beginning to curl. "If those foxes think they can make a move on our territory, they've got a whole 'nother thing coming. We're not letting them get away with attacking Emberpaw like that." She vowed before turning to Ashenthroat. "Lead the way Ashenthroat. We need to get rid of these foxes as soon as possible."
