"WELCOME!!!!"

You look around, searching for the squeaky voice that disrupted your train of thought.

Your eyes rest on a short kitten, paws raised in the air and mouth in a wide open enthusiastic grin,
when she realizes you've noticed her the kitten takes a deep breath, eyes not leaving yours

"TO SWEET CARAMEL TOFFEE HIGH!!"

She points the the big building you were walking towards, a big SCT HIGH sign protruding from the middle, her smile so broad her eyes creased shut.
A couple animals walk past you and the kitten during the awkward silence,
She opens her eyes to your confused expression before she begins laughing out loud,
"Im kidding, its actually Spirits, Chimera and Two faced High school, But that is sooooooooooo boring"
She motions you to follow, Walking towards the school.
"Im Ravena, a two face, I know pretty much EVERYTHING about this school and its peeps so if you need anything or have any questions, I'M the one to ask, want any candy?"
She rips one of the sweets on her necklace off and puts it out by your mouth,but you deny the offer.
"Shame"
She pops it into her mouth. Obviously, she's got some sort of sweet tooth thing going on here.
Once you get into the doors of your new school, you ask about the differences between these creatures.
"Oh? you dont know? So basically, like in the name of this school, there are three different types of animals, or four including the normal ones."
She points to a Dark wolf fish goat looking animal in a class, talking to another student.

"Thats Mr. Klein, he's a chimera, they're the easiest to distinguish, they have features from more than one animal, like his horns, then his fins, and, well yeah. Thats what a chimera is. And Mr. Klein can breathe underwater!!! can you believe it? I wish I was part fish. Oh yeah, he's one of my favorite teachers, You'll love him"
A Grey white wolf with eye tattoos all over her back walks past the both of you

"She's a spirit, spirits can take control of other animals, so far, they can only control normal animals, but i think eventually they'll be able to control us, ohhh creepy. Oh yeah, and thats crypt, she looks a little scary buts she's really nice"
We walk into a classroom, a science room? not sure,
"OH, also, there are two faces, like ME"
Her fur begins turning brown, her eyes yellow, two light circles surround her eyes, her tail begins to shrink and arms begin to grow feathers.

"basically, we are two different animals, and we can transform!! Three faces and four exist too. But the other thing special about two faces, is that the abilities of their two animals can combine and become something AWESOMEEEE!! So, for me, i'm owl and cat right? When owl, i can retract my claws, like a cat!"
She demonstrates, her claws going in and out of her feet.
"It doesn't do much but it doesn't click clack on the wooden floor, and when i'm a cat,"
She morphs but into her original form,
"I have mega soft fur, touchy!"
you feel her back, her fur is in fact, mega soft. You're not sure how this has anything to do with owls though.
" So owls need to be quiet to catch prey right? well the reason why they are, is cause their feathers are mega soft, and do you know what that means?"
you shake your head
She slowly stalks up to you, entire body low, making no noise, and when she's centimeters away from her face, she abruptly raises her head to howl
"IM SUPA STEALTH MASTAAAAAAAA"
"You're not going to be super stealth master if you keep shouting like that"

A chimera with his legs propped up on a desk with a book resting on his lap looked up at you.
"Well, I'll work on that later, for now i'll keep my mega soft fur, hmph"
She drags you by your arm to a desk near the back of the class and sits you down.
"Thats Alastair, he's all right, he reads a lot. Top of the class."
A bell rings and students of all kinds come into the class.
"ok, let me give you the names and info you need about most of these guys.. hmm.."

"Thats calypso, hes what you might call a 'True chimera' at least, almost. Anyway, he's pretty fun, but mostly average."
A yellow dog comes into the classroom, butterflies chasing after her. Ravena calls her over and they hug, The new yellow dog sits next to her.

"Oh hey! im Tris, its nice to meet you."
"Yeah, Tris is my Best friend fo evaaa, Shes great"
They both smile
"I'm a spirit by the way, not a chimera like some people thing, I just like hanging out with my flutter friends."
A few stray butterflies fly around the black board at the front, one lands on your nose
"oops! sorry,"
Her eyes momentarily turn greyish and the butterfly flies back onto its owners back.
Crypt sat down with Calypso, his arm around her shoulder.
" Oh yeah, they go out, cute couple huh?"
A few other students come into the classroom but Ravena said she didn't recognise them, Must be new kids.
"huh, a few people arent here.. well it is the first day."
The bell rung and a black cat comes running into the class, it jumps up onto the bench in front of the blackboard and begins grooming itself. A wolf follows behind, causing reactions only fan girl can make to a boy band, every girl squealing and all the guys shouting "Link! Link!"
The wolf hushes them down.
"Ok class, new year, new students, lets get through this. Im Mr. Hunter, but call me Link, please, Im not that old."

"Thats an old student from here" Ravena whispered
"He graduated a couple years ago, everybody looked up to him, he was the best spirit this school ever had, and he. is soo. CUTE" She giggled under her breath and sighed, you could almost see the hearts coming out of her eyes.
"You"
Link pointed towards your desk
"Stand up"
you stand
"introduce yourself."

ok guys, since my last thing went
*make whistling sound* BOOOOM

im making a new thing
so im still planning this and i accidentally pressed "load draft" instead of save and well, thats what happened
anyway, Ill try and make this one better, just give me a few days and ill make the forum so you can make your own characters

also i dont know what this is called but only i will be writing in it

Kaleido's POV



I'm Sitting by the front of the class, Afraid i might miss something if i sat too far back. Its fun being in a new school, especially when you don't have to hide everything that makes you special. I had never heard of spirits and Two faces before now. Its cool to not be unique anymore, even though being unique was fun, Its nice to be around animals like you.
I put on my earphones from my bag and listen to some tunes. ' I wanna see your animal side~'
A Snake slithered up by my shoulder, I Freeze, Trying to make the snake turn around or something, I honestly didnt know what to do, I never dealt with a snake before.
" Sorry buddy, He gets out of hand sometimes"
A paw Grabs the snake by its neck and yanks it away.

"hey, im Calypso, Like the sea nymph"
He puts out his paw
"um, Im Kaleido... Like a kaleidoscope?"
My attempt at being a friendly animal, this is great, just great.
I nervously shake his hand and he chuckles.
"So, what are you? part deer? Bird?"
animals always mistake my antlers for deer, it can be embarrasing..
"...Actually, um.. Im moose, and butterfly, fox, hummingbird, rabbit"
"Whoa we got quite a mix there, but.. I dont see any rabbit on you"
I wiggle my tail, the only sign of tiny fluffy mammal I have on me.
"ahh, I see, Im snake and wolf"
I wait for him to say more, seeing he's actually someone who's interested to communicate with me for once
"thats it, pretty boring huh? compared to you"
"uhh, No, no, you have two heads though, thats, thats pretty cool.."
"Yeah! He's got his own brain too, so he does whatever he wants. Combined, We've got the biggest brain in school!"
"I dont think even the both of your brains make the smartest in school" A teasing girly voice says behind me

"Hey Calypso" She smiles at him, her harsh white eyes softening
"Hey Cry"
She pecks at his cheek and sits next to him, he wraps his arm around her shoulder and she looks at me, or at least, she would be if she had any pupils, but all thats there are white pools of nothingness, it makes me nervous, but so does everything.
" Kaleido, Crypt, Crypt, Kaleido"
" Nice to meet you, oh You're deer, like Alastair huh"
she leans against Calypso.
Again, people mistake me for deer
"uhh, Actually-"
"He's Moose, Not deer"
I blush, happy he corrected me, so i wouldnt have to mess up speaking, to a girl
She sits up, embarrased
" Oh Im sorry, its just that, well, Im not good with deciphering you chimera folk"
" Its alright, everybody does it"
This is great, normally im shy with animals but i was able to speak to two! and even a girl!
I think this year is going to be great
A bell rings and a cat runs into the class to sit on a bench.
"Wait a minute, that looks like.."
boys began shouting and girl screaming as a dog walked into the class
"AYYY LINK!! WOHOOOOO"
"Ok class, new year, new students, lets get through this. Im Mr. Hunter, but call me Link, please, Im not that old."
He pointed to someone sitting higher up in the classroom to stand up and introduce themself
I turn myself around to see who, Its a leopard sitting near a cat and a dog butterfly thing.

"Hey guys, Im Alamo, a two face, Its great to meet you all!"
Link sits her down, she looks fun, too fun for me.
Another kid stands up,

he has his paws stuffed into his coat pockets, Standing up next to a deer chimera.
"Im Nathan, Spirit, thats all"
keeping one hand in his pocket, he saluted the entire class and sat down
Man, i wish i was that confident
You could almost smell the girls swooning
wait but what do swoons even smell like?
probably perfume. yeah, thats probably it.
"And you"
My eyes widen, Oh gosh, i forgot, im new here, i have to introduce myself
why is the world so cruel
I stand up
"Ummm"
My face is bright red, I can feel it
"Im.. Im Kaleido... im.."
I gulp
"imachimeramoosebutterflyfoxhummingbirdrabbitanditsnicetomeetyou"
I sit my butt down as fast as i could on the chair and blushed hard.
Calypso punches me on the arm with a smirk, i flicker my eyes towards him.
"Nice introduction"
I exhale a little, smile, At least i made a friend.
The rest of class went by as a blur.
Class was short today cause we had to go to our dorm rooms and get settled.
There were seven beds in each dorm room, and three dorm rooms for the students.
Three bunk beds, each with their own little curtains, I got the one with checkered blue and white.
The dorm rooms are separated by what creature you were, So all three of us chimeras were guys.
Brilliant, no awkward girl guy moments.
Both Alamo and Ravena shared the two face room and then there was the Spirits, two girls, one guy.
At least, thats what it is so far.
There is an extra room for sleep overs and stuff between different creatures.
This entire school is pretty loud in the morning and all the senior classes are still having classes so, I resorted to the library.
I brought my mp3 player and earphones so i wouldn't disturb anyone but, There was nobody in the library, not even a librarian.
maybe because only our class didnt have class.
There were shelves of books, from books about mythical animals like us to how to use a dart (I dont even know).
I put on some music, close my eyes and lay down. Pretty quiet here, its nice.
I wonder who else is going to come school here, I hope i'll see more cool and unique animals.

giggling, I hear giggling.
I must've gone to sleep.
Where is this noise coming from?
Three little tail pokes out from in between two of the bookshelves,
I walk around him as not to disturb this newcomer,

Its a little winged puppy, holding a book about.. birds?
he turns the page to some weird looking owl animal. Big eyes and funny beak.
he snickers and rips out the page from the book,
turns out he's been doing this for a while now, he has a big pile of ripped paper next to him,
I walk up behind him and poke him in the back, he turns around, startled
"um, I dont think you should be doing that"
His jaw just drops open and he stares at me for a couple seconds before,
"Oh SHOOT"
he picks up his pages in his mouth and transforms.

he stumbles a little before he flys upwards, dropping a few papers and goes out an open window.
yeah...... great.
I pick up one of the papers off the ground
a potoo, funny looking bird with yellow eyes and a weird mouth.
what was he even going to do with these?
A little sparkle in the corner of my eye catches my attention.

His golden studs were reflecting sunlight,
Its an animal, His back is facing me, wearing a ninja mask?
He's patting the brick walls, looking for something? i dont even know.
im not sure what i should do..
" uhh.. hi there"
his paw stops moving, he turns around to face me,
Blood red eyes, rippling in his sockets,
I stare in shock.
He walks towards me, his soulless pupils looking into my deep into my eyes,
he puts his paw on my shoulder and Using his other paw he pulls down the mask.
His mouth is drenched in saliva, teeth wet, shining in the sun.
I shiver, my eyes wide with fear, mouth parted, not able to move,
he takes a deep breath in, grinning, then opens his mouth, His teeth surrounds my head,
I can feel the roof of his mouth on my forehead, My neck stings, liquid dripping down,
Drool, or blood?
With a snap, i'm engulfed in the dark.


Is this what death feels like?
