(So I'm super mad right now about an argument that just happened. Ima be a bit over expressive I think.)

Sandstar looked at her paws, almost guiltily. "Sorry I haven't really updated you." The she-cat murmured. "I've just been busy, too." (Wb ugh)

Snowstripe looked over at Sandstar, shocked. "I really hadn't thought of it as your fault, you don't have to apologize. I should be the one paying more attention to my clanmates." He meowed. What he said wasn't a lie, but it was mostly said because he didn't want Sandstar to feel more pressured than she was.

"I'll be sure to update you more... in the future." Sandstar decided with a nod. She closed her eyes, letting out a half-relieved sigh. "Perhaps this'll be our break."

Snowstripe nodded. "That would be good. I'll update you on anything Starclan says, although I'm pretty sure that was mandatory anyway." He said, giving her a tired smile. "You wouldn't believe how tired I am. It sure has been busy around here..." Snowstripe was sure it was mostly rubbing off from the other cats around, but he knew it was also because he hadn't been sleeping very well. It had been a while since Starfall's death, but it still haunted him.

Sandstar grntly nudged her clanmates. "Tell me about it. Between you and I, we probably sleep less then an elder." The leader knew that the tom hadn't been sleeping well by the tired look in his eyes.

Snowstripe nodded, feeling comfortable with sharing. "It still bothers me, the way Starfall died." He meowed. "I know there was nothing I could do, but I still feel responsible. Like I should've stopped her from going on the Thunderpath." Snowstripe realized that he hadn't actually spoken much about the she-cat's death, and most of the clan probably only knew she was dead. Not how, or why, just that she was with him when it happened, and that made him feel incredibly guilty.

Sandstar's heart went out to the tom. "StarClan makes a destiny for each cat." She meowed, voice steady. "If StarClan had not made her destiny that. Then things would've been different but they planned it that way, and all we can do is acknowledge their decisions.

Snowstripe stared at the ground, the mood suddenly growing somber. "I guess you're right," he meowed, "but I still feel so guilty. But just know that if Starclan were able to make me forget, I would refuse. Starfall died for her clan, and I won't let it be in vain."
