Smallpaw opened his eyes and rolled onto into his chest in his moss bed. He slept in an unusually position causing his back to ache. Looking over to the other apprentices. The black tom quietly yawned and walked out of the den. Wandering into the medicine cat den, seeing Eveningpaw, "Morning, did you get a good night sleep? BecuadeC it doesn't seem like it." Noticing the lovely young she-cat was hard at work.

Honeylight sat by the fresh kill pile, eating a fish. She didn't notice Eveningpaw was up till morning when Smallpaw wandered into the medicine cat den. "What is that tom up to now?" She sighed and continued to eat before working back with Eveningpaw. Honeylight saw her and tried to warn her about her lack of sleep. 'When will young cats ever learn?' She thought.

Dawnfire eyes glowed in the light of the sun, she stretched and walked over to Emberpaw. "Morning Emberpaw, haven't you eaten yet?" Dawnfire meowed at her apprentice, while she walked over to the kill pile. "I'll teach you the basics of hunting again, before I go and watch you try on your own. I hope to see progress." She said with a smile.

Swanflight gave herself a hard shake. "Right, sorry! I'm still so drowzy I'm not even thinking straight." She said in embarrassment, her ears beginning to turn warm in her fluster as she noticed the Clan deputy's arrival. "Good morning Cleareyes! I was just asking Cinderstar if it would be alright if I went on the border patrol. Would that be okay with you?" She prompted the other she-cat.

The young tom yawned. He had been one of the first to jump out of his nest and out of the apprentice's den and was already ready and revving to get going. Pacing around in an excited circle, he was wondering what was taking everyone so long to wake up. There were things to get done, prey to be caught, and borders to be patrolled and he was anxious to get started with everyone. "I wonder what's taking the others?" He murmured curiously to himself.

At the sight of his mentor, another burst of energy pulsed through Emberpaw's body. "Hello, Dawnfire!" the tom nearly shouted. It was obvious that he was enthusiastic about this. "Okay, another recap would be great! I cannot wait to go on my own! I wonder what I'll catch!" Emberpaw was so excited that he completely forgot about eating.

Ashenthroat purred happily. "Lets go ask Cleareyes if we can join. I don't think many cats have asked." she said, turning towards the highrock. She extended and retracted her claws, exited to go on the patrol.

eveningpaw looked up to see smallpaw. she flattened her ears. "good morning." she rasped. "no actually, i tried though." she meowed with a soft hint of defeat, putting some catmint into a pile. "it's not that i don't want to sleep, it's that i can't." she added, sighing softly. her eyes were darkened, like something was troubling her.

ClideClaw yawned quietly as realized it was morning. He stood up, and took a final stretch before leaving to the fresh kill pile. He took a rather small fish from the pile since his last nights hunt left him full. After two gulps, he swallowed the fish, and headed to the leaders den in the mood for adventure.

The black tom looked at Eveningpaw What's the matter? Is something troubling you?' He gave her a worried look, he noticed Honeylight returning to the Medicine Cat Den. He gave Eveningpaw a quick lick behind her ear. "I don't want Honeylight catching me, I should go to Goldenfur. You can tell me any, but later on..bye." Smallpaw quickly walked out of the medicine cat den and Honeylight looked at him confused, before entering.

Smallpaw rushed to Goldenfur and tried to catch his breath, "Good Morning, what are we going to do today?" He asked panting.

Honeylight entered the den looking at Eveningpaw, "You shouldn't be pushing yourself, go eat and relax for a short while. You have to be awake and alert, not restless and exhausted." The she-cat sighed before looking at the Smallpaw beside Goldenfur. "Any reason to why he was here? Was he injured or anything?"

"Easy there." She chuckled, "Don't want you wasting your energy running around camp. Go eat and call me when your ready." Dawnfire meowed soon after, she picked up a vole and began eating.
