Daze laughed raising an eyebrow at Candy, "I guess I am pretty cool," he said with a sarcastic-humble ring in his voice. "My memory is about the size of a Goldfish's, but it seems that White Flame has a photo-graphic memory," he snorted, "But, I do remember the story of my first crush." Daze said with a laugh walking along the border, "You know, casual childhood where you have a bunch of girls chasing after you, and the one wolf you like is the one who hates your guts." Daze sighed smiling at Candy.

White Flame looked down and shook his head, "I never had any reason to tell any one, not even Daze... Who would I talk to? Xavier?" He swallowed, "if he laughed... Or made fun of me... I don't know what I would do..." He flicked his tail and shook out his fur, "I hate to ask this of you, but if you heard anything from Xavier, I'd like to know... I... Don't expect much, but..." He shook his head and looked up at Star faking a smile.

( THE FEELS ARE TOO MUCH!!! *explodes* ... This is some serious business)

"Xavier wouldn't do that to you." Star barks. She lifts her glistening sorrowful eyes and looks into White Flame's. "If he says anything about it, I'll tell you. For now, it will be our little secret." She says. Her voice is sad and slow.

She smiles back. "Well I never really had a crush. I never knew any boys and if I did I guess I'm not the type of girl they like. I heard that then boys likes sassy girls who only care about their fur. But I wasn't like that. Those types of girls annoyed me and I wanted to give them each a good whack across the face with my forepaw!" Then a sly look appears on her face. She liked teasing him. "Was that girl Icicle?" She asks.

"Naw," Daze said swishing his tail, "I am not really sure what happened to her, it was a long time ago." He said defensively and smiled jokingly. "I would do much rather hang out with you then those kind of girls! They annoy the sh*t Out of me!" Daze barked, "Sorry for the bad language, but god!" He sighed glad that he and Candy had something in common.

White Flame nodded and smiled to hide a wound deep in his heart that had just been reopened. "Should we be going back to camp?" He asked quietly, "it is starting to get late..." He was glad she seemed to understand, and he didn't want to talk about himself anymore. Part of him wanted to see Xavier, but another part wanted to stay as far away as possible.

She smiles. "Oh I don't mind. Mom said that once my dad slipped while chasing some prey and he said something REALLY bad!" She smiles. "Why would you want to spend time with me I'm just a boring wolf. Nothing special about me." She says modestly. For some reason she understood why he would have girls chasing after him. But she didn't know why. She shook that thought away again. "Sorry I just like teasing you about her. You and her seem like such a cute couple."

Daze laughed at Candy's comment, "Boring my *ss! Unlike most females I know, you have a story to tell. You seem to know who you are, and I like that. I feel like I can relate more to you then a "popular" b*tch" Daze barked. He didn't really like to hide anything, he normally lay his thoughts down on the table. "And about Icicle, I am faltered that you say I would be a good couple with such a pretty wolf, but as I said before against popular belife, I would be looking just as much for personality as beautity." He stated as they approched the next border.

She nods. "If you remember her name could you tell me about your childhood crush? I would like to know more about her. She must be Really special if she caught your attention." She jokes. "Oh yes I guess I am more than meets the eye. My mother once told me don't let people think your soft just because of your name and how you look! Because I can kick butt!" She laughs remembering her mother. She didn't remember the name too well something like Kinta. Maybe that was it but she couldn't be sure. Then another thought crossed her mind. Now she was less sure of it all. Did she like him?

"It's funny that I do remember her name," Daze said lowering his ears, "I think I liked her because... I don't know, it was such a long time ago.. She actually happens to be one of my "closer" friends now, though I am pretty sure she likes White Flame. Her name is Star Gazer, Xavier's sister, we never were a thing." Daze wasn't quite sure why he shared this my Candy, it just felt right to talk to her.
