Lydia swam after Charlotte out into the open sea. As they swam, she looked out for boats. She noticed a small boat coming off the shore and looked back at the others. "I see a little boat over there! Might be too small to worry about, but it's a start to keep the humans away."

As Sam towed the boat out into the sea, twards where he had heard the sound, he was amazed at Annabelle's statement. "You have? Where? What did they look like? Did you get any pictures or anything?"

Ekene nodded. "Be careful, Constella. Don't venture further than the cave on your own. Humans are everywhere this time of year, and the last thing we need is someone getting caught in a net, or hurt." She cracked open another oyster and slurped down the meat, then looked over at Talia. "Any plans for today? I was going to weave for a bit."

Talia shrugged as she finished eating, looking at Ekene and Constella. She disliked the way that humans were around so often this time of year, as the queen as said. In general, Talia disliked humans, especially after what had happened to her when she had been one. But now they just seemed to ruin everything and cause trouble for the tribe. "Uh," Talia said, looking to Ekene now. "Maybe I'll go for a swim and see if I can find anything interesting." There was often random trinkets on the seafloor, and finding interesting things was always fun. Besides, maybe she would run into Rebekah as well. "But I'm not sure."

Claire||The Reef Tribe||Open

Claire swam with her tail pounding against the water. She loved that feeling of the water rushing away every move her tail took. She swam with a school of fish, dancing along with them as they stayed close together. She swam back to the surface and took in a breath of air, almost refreshing, but not quite. Claire dove back down to the colors and such, thinking of it as her playground. Claire sat down on a ledged reef, observing the pretty coral net to her. She flicked her tail as it cut her, "ah," she whispered. She held her hand to her chest, pretending to throw the pain away. The pain reminded her of so many things, she didn't want to remember. She waited till the bleeding stopped, than she went on swimming away. She went up to the surface to take one last breath, then she dove down deeper.

Maya sighed as she began swimming towards the reef before returning to the surface, she saw Claire swim to the surface and waved before seeing her dive. She slowly made her way in her direction, she wouldn't be able to catch up but maybe she would be able to talk to her when she returned to the surface.

Charlie looked up at the boat, instinctively diving deeper. She looked over at Lydia. "Yeah, a boat that small won't draw too much attention. We ought to wait until it's near a sandbar, or rocks or something," she suggested. "I mean...if that's alright." She didn't want to seem bossy around the queen. She hoped the rest of the tribe would catch up soon. She hadn't seen Maya or Claire this morning, but she understood that everyone liked their alone time.

Ekene nodded. "There's plenty of relics to be found on the seafloor, as well." She looked off in the direction Augustina's shout had come from. "Maybe I'll join you." She'd made enough fishtraps and baskets to last them a while. They didn't wear out easily. "I mean, it sounds fun. But if you wanted to go alone, I won't intrude." It also would be worth it to swim the territory, and make sure nothing was different or amiss.

"I was nine," she explained. "I..." She took a deep breath. "I think they were sirens...I'm not crazy, I swear...they sink ships. They're incredibly dangerous." She looked over at Sam. "I understand if you think I'm crazy?"

Xemara looked up at the small boat as well following Charlotte and diving down deeper into the water. Nodding in agreement to Charlotte's suggestion, she said, "That sounds like a good idea Charlotte. What do you think Lydia?" the mermaid asked curious to see what the queen's opinion was about the situation.

Claire could barely see Maya wave to her out of the corner of her eye. Somebody to talk to. Claire stopped her dive and swam back up towards Maya. Claire waved to her as she climbed toward the surface and took a gasp of air. She didn't really need it, but it wasn't like it was in short supply. Claire bobbed her head above the surface, making sure her tail kept her hovering there. "Hello, Maya"

"Oh!" Talia said, smiling. "Sure, that sounds fine!" She said. After all, it was much more fun to swim with someone than alone. "If you want to come with, that's fine." She pushed off of the shore, sliding back into the water. "I'm sure we'll find something interesting out there. People always loose stuff in weird places, afterall." The girl said with a grin, turning to leave.
