Ah by the way... yes, that marking on the foals is indeed a turtle/tortoise.

Pfft their theme does have something to do with the marking... you guys just have to figure it out x3.

Never really saw that one like that, but this makes me miss having bettas, hehe.

These ponies aren't fish, though XD.

Theories I don't think have been debunked yet, and other possiblies
Sea Slugs, Eel, Coral/Sea Plants, Frogs

Anyone have any new ideas? I'm really curious for what they are based on, but I'm pretty well out of ideas to what they could be, besides what has already been mentioned.

I've never seen a theme go unguessed for so long, I'm actually kinda impressed!

I looked into a few things I thought were possible, turtle eggs, sea sponges, jellyfish, and birds and flowers of the Galapagos islands and none of those seem to have anything that matches quite right with these. I'm excited to see what they turn out to be. But in the meantime, it's an intriguing mystery!

i mean its a turtle in the grass so why not other pets that llive in the grass?
