leaned down, her whiskers quivering as she got close to his
ear. "Whenever I'm near you, I get this funny feeling in
my stomach and in my paws." She moved away from his ear,
lied down, and tucked her paws under her. Somehow, she felt
relieved telling him. "Its not a bad feeling...it just makes
me feel..." She couldn't think of even a single word that truly
described how she felt. No word could."...it makes me feel like

I let out a large sigh. "Good, so I'm not the only one." I'm sure my eyes get brighter as I speak to the cat at my side. I silently pluck a few more feathers from my pigeon. Taking two more large bites.

I nod again "Ok." I lean in slightly closer, my voiced hushed in a whisper. "And in a few moons when those two are warriors." I gesture to the apprentices sitting out of earshot. "We may have a few kits running around." I pull Away, flicking my tail in farewell as I trot off. I approach Skyfrost, my green eyes bright and friendly. "Hello Skyfrost. Whould you mind joining me on a hunting patrol?" I give my chest a few small licks in an attempt to flatten the fluffy white fur.

the brown tom silently lay in the warrior's den, his tail curled, tightly around his muscular build. rumbleclaw's golden eyes opened, stepping out of the den, stretching his limbs out, his lips parting in a yawn. as he looked around, his eyes landed on the fresh-kill pile. he huffed, noticing it was a bit short on prey. his ears were up tall, trying to see if anyone was going to set out on a hunting patrol. rumbleclaw flicked his long, brown tail.

dewpaw lay silently on the side of camp, curled in a tight ball as she looked around. her blue ice eyes were staring towards riverfrost and sunkit. her ears pushed back, "you're such a lucky kit, sunkit, don't take your mother for granted." she said, thinking of her mother. dewpaw missed her mother a lot. she had helped her daughter escape from the twoleg place, but she didn't escape,herself. the apprentice sighed, gently, standing up and watching the queen and kit talk. she grabbed a small mouse, laying down by the other apprentices. "hey, guys. hope i'm not interrupting anything.." she said, looking to the two other cats.

cookie silently sat on top of her human's fence, green eyes staring into the dark abyss of the forest, tail flicking silently behind her. the she-cat was an adventurous cat, but never raked up the courage to walk into the dense trees. her ears were pricked, jumping down from the fence and slowly walking into the forest, slowly. leaves rustled, her tail quickly puffing up in fear. "h-hello?" she called out.

as she heard him say he wasn't the only one, she felt happy. she
could now rest assured her feelings were, in a way, returned.
a flash of white clouded her eyes for a moment, before realizing
it was dewpaw. she had always admired the she-cat's unique
white pelt and crystal blue eyes, and was glad she was an
apprentice with them both. "no no, you weren't interrupting.
we were just having small talk." her ears flicked as she spoke
to her. "you seem a bit down, dewpaw. what's the matter?"
