Pulling out three shellfish Nina quickly pulled them away to get working on them. She had picked out three clams and one by one she dug her nails through their sealed cracks and pried them open. Slurping the inside she smiled in accomplishment as she finished all three quickly. "I love having the fishing boats close by," She said looking out to sea. "It means less work for us." Realizing her bluntness she blushed slightly.

Bobbie nodded with a smile, 'True - and they are quite fun to sink as well.' She said with a relatively playful smile as she broke into an Oyster, placing it on the rocky shore as the seal pup waddled back over. She the cracked open a clan for her herself.

I bowed my head. "I know, my queen. I will be careful." Smiling up at the ruler of my tribe, I bowed once more before making my way out of the cavern where we had been eating. As soon as I was in open waters, I began to sing. I started soft, a lilting soprano that rose into high notes and drifted down into those of a near alto. As I entered the cave, I allowed my voice to rise, soaring into the cavern above the water. I began to allow my voice to reach higher and lower and more dramatic notes, weaving a song that made you want to dance, but cry, one that left you devoid of all feeling once done.

Juliana took a deep breath in through her nose, the air was fresh with the obvious scent of salt and fish but that was just how she liked it. Closing her green eyes she smiled, feeling at peace with the world and herself. Juliana was half way out of water, her back against are large rock that hid her from the shore. The spot was the definition of perfect. Early in the morning, like now, the sun would land on her face warming her up quickly and no human ashore would be able to see her. She planned to stay that way till noon but the voice of Bobbie, her Queen, singing pulled her away from her boss. Biting her lip she waited until she couldn't resist the Queen call. Ducking under the waves she made her way towards the shore where she saw to familiar faces. Nina and Bobbie. Dragging herself a shore she smiled to the two of them. "Good morning you two," her eyes landed on the shellfish that struggled in the net as the two mermaids feasted on them. "Is that breakfast?" She asked looking to Bobbie with bright eyes.

Annabelle/Loner/Hanging around the Lowcountry Reef/Tags;;-/Moods;;Bored

Annabelle's tail flicked out of the water for a heartbeat, way to quick to dry but the fear was enough for her to swim a little bit lower from the water's surface. Her stomach growled fiercely as she sped up in search for something to eat. Suddenly she came to a halt, so fast that her hair went forward. Smiling she licked her lips as she approached a silver net, filled with millions of shrimp. Above her she glanced at the bottom of a Shrimp Boat and debated about whether or not she should sing all the humans aboard to their deaths or just enjoy the free meal in front of her. Once again her stomach growled so she turned to the shrimp. Approaching the net she tugged at it trying to tear it so her hands could get in but to her disappointment it was well made. Looking around for something to use her eyes traveled to the bottom of the water's floor and she smiled satisfyingly. Resting peacefully on the bottom was a sharpened oyster shell, quickly she snatched it up and returned to the net. Sawing at the net it broke free and the shrimps began to poor out, but Annabelle was there to catch them. By the time the net had emptied Annabelle felt satisfied and swam away in search for somewhere to rest. The water began to warm up and before she knew it Annabelle had swum up a creek which she guest was apart of the Lowcountry Tribe's territory.

Xemara listened to Charlotte speak about the new reef she had found out about. "Sounds like fun, I could really go for an adventure right now." Xemara murmured stretching a bit. She took the empty scallop and tossed it into the ocean watching as it sank. Xemara started to drag herself back to the water so she'd be ready to get back into the water.

Dangling her feet over the salty water of the marsh, Augustina sat on a dock that over-looked the most of the Lowcountry Tribe's territory. Although a normal human wouldn't know it, but Augustina wasn't just a normal human. She knew all about the ocean and all the tribes. Who wouldn't after spending over 300 years in it? Rubbing her eyes with the palm of her hand she felt stressed out. After all those years of trying to become human, it all ended like this. Biting her knuckle she felt herself tear up around the eyes. If she had known so many years had passed by maybe she would've given up, at least as a mermaid she didn't feel alone. Now as a human she felt foreign to the world. She couldn't even enter a town without having a panic attack and embarrassing herself. Pulling her knuckle out of her mouth she sucked in a lung full of oxygen before screaming in frustration. "This is the worst!"

Roland/Mermaid hunter/In the Lowcountry area/Tags;;Augustina/Moods;;...intrigued

Roland had arrived in the Lowcountry area a week before, and everyday since them he had been exploring the waters for mermaids and asking nearby citizens of the water's history. So far he had only a thread of hope, and he felt himself getting desperate. Raking his fingers through his brown hair. Roland was beginning to feel hot, his shirt was starting to cling to his back from how much he was sweating. He was walking along a dirt road besides a web of creeks and marshes in search of an elderly lady he was supposed to meet and now he was beginning to the he went the wrong way. Yawning he looked around for anybody when a scream reached his ears alarming him. Looking towards the water he saw a girl sitting on a small dock. "Miss?" He called out to her as he approached her with caution. "You okay?" He asked.

Claire found a small conch hidden underneath some coral, what a pretty treat. Claire ran her fingers through the stripes and light colors before she ate it. She laid down on the sand surrounding the coral, closing her eyes, relaxed. She sat up and looked around to the beautiful fish, all different colors and sizes. She wish the world would except people like these fish excepted each other, all different, yet, all the same. Claire touched and let her fingers drag along some of the sleek, scaly, figures. So precious, so pure.

Augustina jolted and she twisted around to see the person who spoke to her. Eyes wide she fought over what to say until she swallowed her fear. "Um...Yeah?" she said unsure. But then she realized how suspicious she looked, Turning to the water she took in a deep breath before sighing and turning around. With a gentle smile she nodded her head. "Yeah. I'm okay." She said more positively. Raking her fingers through her blond hair she took her time examining the boy infront of her. Normally she avoided the male population in general. Years she had sung many of them to their deaths with her Tribe so it was weird seeing them like this. Face to face and alive. She studied his eyes and face before turning her gaze to his hands. He's a worker... she thought to herself as she noticed their roughness. Flicking her gaze back to his she questioned him. "So why are you this far from...well everything?" she said gesturing around them to prove her point.

"Yes, that's a good idea. I think there were supposed to be a few fishing boats coming nearby, we could go and sink those. There might even be a tourist ship coming near, that would definitly keep them away." Lydia replied. "Once everyone's done, let's go and investigate."

"There's no need, I have enough." Samuel replied as they left the shop and walked down to the shore, where a couple of small boats waited to be rented out. "I've wondered many times just how many of the things that we hold as myths might actually be true." He said as he paid the fisherman who was renting out the boats and stepped into one.

Maya swam slowly through the water, every so often reaching down to touch the shell tied around her waist. She swam towards the surface and lifted the shell to her mouth, blowing into it - creating a low whistling noise, which was a replacement for her lack of singing ability. She lowered the shell again and looked around for anyone.

Charlie nodded at Lydia, excited that her queen had liked her idea. She swam out to the open sea, hovering just above the seafloor while she waited for the others to join her.

Ekene nodded. "Be careful, Constella. Don't venture further than the cave on your own. Humans are everywhere this time of year, and the last thing we need is someone getting caught in a net, or hurt." She cracked open another oyster and slurped down the meat, then looked over at Talia. "Any plans for today? I was going to weave for a bit."
