It is easy to talk to Alo for hours about nearly any subject. She is laid back and down to earth; knows when to listen and when to pick up the slack. She is versed in a wide variety of subjects as she used to be quiet an avid reader. Previously (and, rather currently) a devote anarchist, she picked up Voltairine Decleyre, Hugo Ball, and Kurt Vonnegut. The things she read stuck with her and she has modeled many aspects of her life after that literature.
Usually it's difficult for her to get invested in any person or thing. She has never been the best at connecting with people on a profound level. The majority of her relationships existed on very shallow planes, namely her high school friendships. The few people she knows on a personal level she has become very attached to and would do anything to keep (She used to party religiously but stopped to preserve the relationship with her parents and best friend). All of her relationships have been platonic. She has never actively sought a romantic relationship and is impartial to the love concept, though she is clueless about the subject in itself. There are very few other things she cares about passionately, but the one that has stayed with her through the years has been her hatred of social injustice.
Alo in herself is somewhere between chronically sad and mildly melancholy. She isn't the brightest of company, so she prefers to keep her thoughts and feelings to herself. Forever and always unsatisfied with herself, her constant changing has created a very unhappy, ungrounded person. She desires mental strength above anything, but craves an anchor in her life who she could depend on.
