As the title says, this here is a Splatoon RP.
This RP has no single, core plot. Instead, little plots will come in and out, being woven as we go.
In case anyone's wondering, the RP is set mainly in Inkopolis, after the events of Splatoon's Octo Valley mode. This means there probably WILL be spoilers at some point, so please be aware of this before joining. :3

-Let's lay down some rules first-

• Only join if you have a good amount of Splatoon knowledge.
  
• You MAY RP major canon characters, but if you do, please only choose one or two. We'd like there to be enough to go around. Also, if you choose to RP such a character, please do your best to keep them as in-character as possible.
  
• As of now, non-canon non-Inkling characters are totally allowed! This includes Octolings, by the way.
  
• Try to make posts at least 3 sentences long, or 2 if you're having a bit of writer's block, or there isn't enough to work with. Also, try to use your best grammar skills.
  
• Since this is Splatoon-based, I'd appreciate it if we could keep things appropriate and family-friendly.
  
• If one of your characters is currently interacting with others, and you go inactive for a long time, the other RPers are welcome to have their characters move on to doing something else. (I guess I'd consider something like a week or two since your last post on this RP to be long enough for this to apply.)
  
• Please don't try to RP more characters than you can handle.
  
• Of course, be sure that you're familiar with CS' RPing rules. As these are the rules of all RPs on the site, these are very, very important, and must be followed at all times.

(Seeing as we have a decent bunch of characters now, I think it's an alright time for us to start RPing. x3 I'll start us off.)

It was a clear summer day, and Inkopolis Plaza was alive with the sound of young Inklings cheerfully conversing with one another. Lively music flooded over the area, booming from the large speakers mounted around the entrance to Inkopolis Tower. A small crowd of Inklings was currently gathered around this entrance, bobbing their heads to the music as they loitered about.

Oskar- a slightly-pudgy Inkling boy with a kind, smiling face- strolled into the plaza, his hands in his jean pockets. He had no plans currently, so he wasn't in any particular hurry. As he had walked a fair distance to get here, he felt the need to sit down and take a brief rest. Locating the nearest bench, he slowly made his way over and took a seat, briefly bringing a hand to the back of his neck to scratch beneath the knot of the light blue handkerchief tied around it.

Ferne/Agent 3 - Female - Tagged; Open
Ferne stretched her arms in the air as she strolled into Inkopolis Plaza with a faint smile on her lips. It hadn't been long since she had defeated DJ Octavio, but since then she hadn't seen much action. The young Inkling sighed softly to herself as she climbed up the ramp in front of Callie and Marie's studio before climbing onto the railing in front of it and taking a seat. She always enjoyed the view from up above, though she always feared falling off and onto the street below, though she had experienced worse falls before in her time. Gripping onto the railing tightly, the girl swung her legs back and forth as she hummed along to the music that played within the plaza, wondering if anything exciting would happen today.

Ryker - Male - Tagged; Open
Ryker wiped the sweat from his forehead as he took a seat in one of the few shaded areas in the plaza. It was certainly a hot day out today; not the ideal weather to wear a long sleeve shirt like he had done. Quietly, he rolled up his sleeves slightly before looking around the plaza to see if he saw anyone he might know. He knew it was a stretch, but it never hurt to try and look for one of the few friends he actually had. After a moment, he adjusted the glasses on his face before allowing a soft sigh to escape his lips. None of the Inklings around seemed all too familiar to him.

Callie yawned loudly, her gloved finger on the rim of a cup of water. Everything was calm today, even if it was super hot outside. She turned her head slightly to look out of the window. She grinned upon seeing Agent three... Or Ferne. She sat up and took her elbows off of the small table as she stretched her arms. That's when it hit her... The intense boredom! "It's hot and there's nothing to do... Well I could go out, but I'd be super sweaty out there..." She muttered with a groan. There was normally so much to do, but today felt especially dull for her.

Among the many young Inklings who filled Inkopolis Plaza on that particularly hot Summer day was Lill, who was currently strolling past the several stores that made up the shopping mall known as Booyah Base. As the Inkling girl idly walked along, she would stop briefly to glance into the window of each store for a moment, then continue on her way once again. After a little while, she found that her footsteps were falling into sync with the music that filled the plaza.

Marie-
Marie currently sat across the table from Callie, lazily leaning back with her left elbow on the arm of her chair, and one leg crossed over and resting on the other.
"And nobody would want that," she remarked in response to her cousin's statement, idly and lightly drumming her fingertips on her left cheek as she rested her chin on the palm of her hand. "But in all seriousness," she continued with a sigh, "I SO hear you." Bored, she glanced out the window, though a small smile momentarily came to her face upon seeing Ferne sitting there. "So," she began again, returning her attention to Callie, "what are we gonna do? Just... go get some ice cream or whatever...?"


Oskar-
As his eyes scanned the plaza, Oskar noticed an Inkling who appeared to be a little bored. Unable to stand the sight of someone feeling down on such a nice day, he slowly rose to his feet, then began to approach. "Hey there," he greeted in his quiet voice with a smile on his face. "Nice weather, huh...?"

"I don't know why I didn't think of that! Ice cream sounds great!" At that, she was back to her happy self. She picked up her cup and downed the water quickly, exhaling with satisfaction. She stood up, clearly ready to go, but considering she normally had tendancies to forget her money, she stopped herself from leaving right away. She picked her wallet up, which had actually just been sitting on the table the whole time. She always got really excited, even over the small things like going out for ice cream. She had a big grin on her face, too. She really liked ice cream.
