What do you do if you find a character you like on an adoption thread and the adoption form says you need art to adopt the character so you commission someone for tryout art because you can't draw, and then the owner of the adoption thread says its art theft to get tryout art and that the art has to be your own. And then the person you got the art from says that the owner of the adoption thread told them that you stole the character and now your banned from their art shop, which happens to be your favorite art shop?

Did you read the rules of the thread/adopt? Did it say anywhere that all art had to be your own? If it did, then you should contact the owner and apologize for misunderstanding their rules and ask if they can clear up the rules/give you a second chance. If it didn't, then you should still contact the owner and point out that it didn't say that anywhere and ask if they could either add the rule in or do nothing as the rule isn't stated anywhere.

Again, you should explain to the art shop owner that you didn't steal the character and just wanted some tryout art. If they don't buy that explanation, then maybe you should go find another art shop that is more sympathetic. XP
