The brown tabby apprentice was crouched near the camp entrance as he peered in to see what all of the commotion was about. ''There are cats that I don't recognize battling with the clan. They don't carry any scent that I know. I'm going to help.'' Cedarpaw didn't ask the question, but he knew that it gleamed in his eyes. Was this cat going to help the clan in their time of need? He turned back towards the camp entrance and charged into the chaos.

The black bengal felt the tom's claws dig into his underbelly and he let out a yowl of fury. He swiped at the tom's head and felt his paw make contact. Crowsong jumped away from the tom and muttered a string of curses. He launched himself at a nearby cat.

The white tom unsheathed his sharp claws and clawed the Darkforest tom until he jumped away from the warrior. He felt a bit disoriented from Crowsong's swipe. ''You're not a warrior, you Foxheart.'' He turned towards Sagestep with a worried gleam in his eyes. ''Are you alright? I don't know if we're going to win this battle.'' His worried blue gaze turned to some of the Darkforest warriors that were in camp. ''There are so many of them.''

The lynx point apprentice hissed and she swiped at Kestrelflight with unsheathed claws. Moonpaw couldn't tell if her battle move had any effect on the cat. She had joined the Darkforest, so why would it hurt to be loyal? Moonpaw's fur was bristling and the she-cat looked almost twice her normal size. Her ears were folded against her head to try to keep the other cat from getting ahold of them.

He struggled to his paws, and ran to join the fray, his mind running along with him, 'What am i doing?! I'm practically killing myself for these cats! I must have a mouse's brain...'
