I blinked my honey colored eyes open sleepily, instinctively squinting at the warm sunlight that flooded my den. I yawned as I stretched out my legs as far as they could go, groaning in satisfaction when i heard my stiff joints pop. Sitting up in my soft nest, i yawned once more, still not fully awake. "I should check the freshkill pile when i grab something to eat...i might need to send a patrol out..." I murmured to myself as i heaved myself up onto my paws. Giving myself a quick grooming, i exited the dark peace of my den and entered the bright and breezy morning. Padding over to the freshkill pile, i took note of how it was gradually growing smaller, now half its original size as of a week ago, and decided i would send out a patrol later. "Let's see...let's see...how about...a thrush?" I muttered under my breath, reveling in the rare opportunity of being able to choose my meal without cats darting in and grabbing meat from left in right as i picked up my choice of bird. Scanning the camp, i choose to sit in one of my favorite spots next to the meeting tree, a giant willow underneath of which i would hold meetings and gatherings. Sitting, i began to eat.

Sunnygaze stretched as she awoke. She needed to get something to eat. She padded out of her den and into camp, picking a small mouse off the fresh kill pile. She glanced over at the clan leader, Amberstar, and decided to eat besides her. She walked over to the other cat, sitting down and tucking her tail around her. She let out a soft purr.

"Us orange cats need to stick together," she joked, taking a bite of her mouse. She then looked up at Amberstar.

"Anything new with the clan?"

Silverclaw is quiet and focused. He finds happiness in setting goals and achieving them. If he fails to achieve a goal, it can devastate him. He is a very logical thinker, makes good decisions, and has good instincts. He often is overwhelmed by social interaction, and goes for long walks completely on his own to calm down.

a wide yawn escaped from rosepaw's mouth as she awoke. the sun shined
directly onto her pelt, warming her up instantly. another day...she thought
as she stretched out her forelimbs, flexing her claws in and out several times.
She shook out dust and anything else that had found its way onto her
in her sleep, and padded out of the den with another yawn. she immediately
noticed most of the clan was still asleep, besides her leader, amberstar,
and the medicine cat, sunnygaze. a low growl emitted from her stomach
as she made her way over to them. "Good morning, Amberstar,
Sunnygaze." She dipped her head politely, before continuing to the camp
center, awaiting her mentor so she could begin her training.

I chuckled softly at the medicine cat's comment as she settled in beside me. "You got that right...and i was thinking about sending out a hunting patrol, they freshkill pile is getting low. Any meetings with starclan as of late?" I mewed before taking a small bite of my thrush, chewing and swallowing swiftly. I knew most cats here took their time when it came to eating, but where i came from, if you didn't finish your catch within three minutes, it was open for anyone to snatch. "I know that usually they don't communicate with you until the full moon, when it is the set time for them to speak with you; but i have heard that sometimes they speak to medicine cats before then." I finished my train of thought, and took another bite of my thrush after licking my fur clean of any remains from the last bite. When rosepaw padded past us, i smiled lightly, nodding to the she cat before continuing with my meal.

He yawned and stretched. He noticed the cat he shared his den with was still asleep so he slowly snook out. He looked at the kill pile and sighed. Not much as usual he grabbed a bit of bird and quickly ate it, he licked his lips.

I stand in my nest, my limbs aching to run. I trot out of the Warriors den, arching my back in to a high arch, widening my jaws into a large yawn. I shake my pelt, trotting over to the fresh kill pile. I inspect it carefully, grabbing a vole from the top of the small cluster. I find myself a sunny spot a few tail lengths away from my leader, settling down, and tucking my paws underneath my. I take a small bite from my prey, watching as my brother emerges from the apprentice den.

I open my drowsy eyes, emerging from my den into the large camp. I shake out my spotted pelt, noticing my sister by the freshkill pile. I grab a pigeon, trotting over to join my sister at her side. I wrap my tail neatly over my paws, plucking a few feathers off of my prey.
