Dust Bunnies are small, four-legged creatures, with unknown origins. They like to hide under your bed and in dark corners of your room (hence they're name), only coming out at night to steal candy from children. Despite their appearance, they're absolutely harmless.

Here is my very first batch of Dust Bunnies as an official artist as well! I'm pretty sure you guys can guess what this batch is based off of. If you don't know,I'll give you a hint. (It's Steven Universe!) I've been re-watching episodes because I can't get enough of it and thought that seeing (no pun intended) some of the gems had multiple eyes, why not make some Dust Bunnies based off of some gems!Anyways, on to the discussing how you can adopt one of them! (Remember: you can only try out for one or the other!)

To adopt one, I would like for you to find me a picture of an interesting, unique gem, that has to be a rare or uncommon one that when saying the name of it to someone on the street, it makes them say " What?" (It can't be a popular gem like Ruby, Pearl, Opal, etc. etc.) You will also need to fill out a form below to let me know which one you want and what name you would like to bestow upon the Dust Bunny. If you would like to add any extra things like stories, personality descriptions, art, etc. to your form, feel free to (it isn't required, so don't fret)!

Story:
They called her Garnet when she was first discovered, the eyes of the little boy growing wide as she ate his m&ms and leftover Twix. She only liked the red, blue, and brown m&ms.

The little boy tried to show her to his parents, cupping her in his hands and gently stroking her cubed mane in soft circles with his finger, but they were always 'Sorry honey, I'm busy right now'. Garnet thought the boy needed a friend. She could be his friend.

When the boy talked to Garnet she thought he was a bit odd. He always talked about dresses, and flowers, and wishing he could be a princess. He wasn't odd for wanting it to her though. No he was odd for not doing it. She didn't know why he couldn't do those things. Still (s)he was her odd person.

Garnet learned a lot about band-aids as her girl got older and got into fights more at school. She learned that her girl needed a bigger band aid than this, puny one. One that goes over the heart. Garnet wished she knew how to get one for her. For now though, purring against her cheek as she held her after putting on many band-aids on bruises and cuts, would have to do.

Garnet learned about love when her girl went out on a date. She played pretend to her parents, wearing clothes like a boy, 'They'd never get it Garnet.', but Garnet saw she had her girl clothes in her backpack. Garnet watched from the window when she came back at 9, talking to a girl, holding her hand, both of them smiling and wondered 'Is that love?' Her tail couldn't help grinning at the sight as she saw them kiss, giddy for some reason prancing around the on the desk. Her baby girl was growing up!

Garnet learned about love more and more the older her girl got. She learned love is hard and doesn't always work out right away. 'Love is tough, Garnet..' She remembered her girl saying one day after a huge fight with her, who Garnet assumed to be, mate. She'd been sleeping in her jewelry box. 'It takes time....and a whole lot of work'. Garnet remembered how sad she'd sounded saying that but as she cuddled Garnet that night, the dust bunny knew things would be okay. She could already see them working it out.
