The flaxen chestnut wasn't on the street, but on the grass and dirt. He plunged forward, heading towards the trees.

Ryce opened his mouth, but noticed no one around. He sighed and followed after the loose horse. "Here horsey horsey! Come here, boy!)

The colt kept on going, pretty far by now most likely. He had turned and the rain still coming, and the grass, had covered his hoofprints.

Ryce sighed and followed the mud tracks which soon turned to puddle tracks, which, in the end, turned to nothing more than a guess on which direction the horse was going.

The horse had turned somewhere along the way, and soon the rain quieted. Jetlag would wander home on his own soon enough if left alone, or even find his way into town where one might bring him to the lost and found, or wherever they bring loose unidentified horses.

Ryce opened his mouth and paused, lifting his hand up next to his head, a finger up. He glanced to the left, troubled. "I am lost, aren't I?" He took in a breath and had a pressed smile, realizing how much longer he could be away.

The storm softened, it might have just been for a short time or it was lifting up. The gelding was at the local racetrack, behind the barn on the corner of the property.

Ryce choose a direction and started to walk that way, hoping to find his way home.

(That's okay. Hm... Something is needed to spice it up here... Guessing and placing bets on the foals. XD on what color and such. XD I will place 10$ to bet my first foal will be a filly. XD
