elwood - though aric certainly appreciates the act of telling the
emperor about the empress's knowledge of the dream-borns' pla-
ns, it's simply impossible for him to think highly of someone who
would betray his own leader like that. he's wary of elwood's int-
entions and doesn't trust him at all; if he was willing to betray t-
he empress, then he would probably be just as willing to betray
the emperor— or so aric's logic goes [?]
august - aric would definitely try to get on august's good side, n-
ot because he actually likes or respects him, but because he sees
august as naïve and thinks he could be a potential pawn to manip-
ulate in his plans for the physical-borns. pretending to be his frie-
nd would (in theory) help aric shake antonia off his back, so it w-
ould be v v beneficial to him if he were to trick august into think-
ing that they're buds [?]
evelina - as one of the two people who landed her into this mess,
aric is far from sympathetic to evelina's plight. though he pities h-
er somewhat, he views her as nothing more than a tool that he u-
sed to drag everyone else into the dream world. if she were to un-
lock her powers, that would be bad, to say the least, and so he'll
do all he can to prevent that from happening. most likely she de-
spises him for what he did to her, but he's indifferent so long as s-
he remains in her currently vulnerable and unstable state [?]

mark - aric would definitely disapprove of mark's sympathy for
the physical-borns; i can imagine him being all judgmental and s-
tuff, esp after finding out about his love for ophelia (? that's assu-
ming they're not keeping it a secret lol) like "what are u doing w-
hy are u fraternizing w the enemy smh". your idea sounds rad tho,
so whether or not aric actually knows about mark's feelings for o-
phelia, he and manon are suspicious of his loyalty to their cause
bc he seems to have a weak spot for this girl [?]
sofia - i think aric and sofia could have been good friends in th-
e past, as sofia used to be a staunch follower of the emperor and
aric still is. he was hurt by her betrayal, more than he would ever
let on, but quickly ostracized her afterward. she, on the other h-
and, seems to be making her own choices now, so maybe she con-
siders herself enlightened and tries to do the same for him? but d-
espite her best attempts to get through to him, he refuses to acc-
ept that what he's doing is immoral [?]
manon - partners in crime, bro. they're v similar personality-w-
ise, so i imagine they hit it off immediately, and they're capable
of doing some p rad things when they put their minds together. i
think it would be cool if they were best friends, or rly close ones;
almost everyone else hates them, so their unpopularity kind of un-
ites them, but aric appreciates having someone just as evil as he
is. basically, they're an unstoppable force of corruption lmao [?]
antonia - she's fiercely protective of her brother, which is why
aric sees her as a hindrance. though he understands why she mig-
ht want to shield august from the dream-borns' intentions, he ho-
nestly couldn't care less about their family situation and will do
everything in his power to make sure she doesn't get in the way
of his and manon's plans. antonia probably thinks aric is downri-
ght evil, but all he wants is to make sure she doesn't screw thin-
gs over by turning august against him [?]
julian - aric is going to be, like, julian's no. 1 fan, whether you
like it or not. i can totally see him hanging on to every word julian
says and thirsting after him 24/7 lmao he probably came up with
the plan to trap the physical-borns half because he wants a place
in the real world and half to impress julian. i'm thinking they can
be close friends, with a dash of infatuation + an eagerness to plea-
se on aric's side [?]

i'm honestly so bad with relations you guys, i'm coming up super blank right now so i'll post something more in depth later on but
for the sake of staying in this roleplay i'm accepting all relations made and adding on to them.

@thor- he's the innocent baby brother and she's like his saving grace/body guard. he pretty much looks up to her and is always try-
ing to make her happy so naturally what she says goes. he is also aware she blames herself for him being here, but he denies it.

@spiff- fake friendships are the best. i feel like for drama august is gunna hardcore trust aric. like his sister probably wont be into
it, but he'll swear that aric is a good guy or whatever.

@ari- juniper is a cutie. they'd make cute friends and all that good stuff cause they're both pretty outgoing. he admires her for be-
ing so peppy even tho she's a dream born and doesn't have an actual body to return to but still helps him try to get back to his own.

@crash- all i know is they'd be cute vulnerable friends like agh. lemme know what you can come up with babe cause my ideas are
just crap tonight.

@tano- they've got this cute friendship where she's like his second sister. she takes care of him and coddles him to death and tbh
is just another reason why people fear august. he's a cutie but the people he's associated with would kill to protect him.

okay, another quick memo.

i designed the justices and the emperor to be the three main villains in the rp. they are supposed to feel very negatively towards physical-borns (if they feel anything at all, tbh, the physical-borns are mainly pawns to the dream-borns that want to get back to the physical world). i wanted to leave room for development for these characters (and the rest of the characters, of course, but mainly these three). type, spiff, and raven all have a really good sense of what their characters are supposed to be--so shout out to them--but please keep this in mind when making relations w/ these characters--they are supposed to be the villains when the rp starts.

@crasher, ya, i can see that too! i think for the most part, mark would be ezra's friend, but he'd be a lil bit salty towards him for not controlling his powers better--but tbh mark is really not the kind of guy to express anger--so he'd probably help ezra understand his powers better instead of getting angry w/ him.

@spiff, so mark is currently hiding his relationship from everyone he feels is a threat to it (so anyone who is loyal to the emperor), but maybe we could have aric find out later in the rp b/c that would be really fun to see go down B)

[ mark ] what a cutie patooti. juniper would most likely see him as a pretty good guy, especially since she can relate to being secretive. i was thinking that maybe they could have talked about the physical-world companions a lot together? i.e. he talked about ophelia and she talked about nicky?? she'd support their loving relationship although her now messed up emotions regarding nicky might make her not quite understand it.

[ sofia ] dfghjkl so pretty and adorable. I'm a bit lost on a relationship between the two. being anxious and quiet might make juni want to try to get her out of her shell, but with everything going on and juni's own problems, sofia might sink into the background for her. any ideas??

[ manon ] she and juni pose trouble. especially because of manon's alliance with the emperor and junipers need to get nicholas out of his coma so she can continue to live her life through him, it just poses problems. on top of this, juni is rather jealous and i think just how beautiful manon is and her own lack of self-confidence might cause her to act out.

[ antonia ] that independent and mature being that tonia has would definitely appeal to juni. she'd most likely really look up to her, in a role model sort of way. maybe juniper tries to get closer to antonia, but the introverted side of her keeps juni at bay? it would be kind of a cute thing to role play out, but I'm up for other suggestions too <3

[ elwood ] she and elwood would totally hit it off. i think, despite him being outcasted, juniper might find a way to keep talking to him. his optimistic and just general fun loving attitude is a huge breath of fresh air for her. to find someone that similar to her might bring out her more annoying side, but in general i think they'd be pretty good friends.

[ evelina ] i sort of feel like juni and evelina just would butt heads? they are so different and although juniper is in general a friendly girl, i just think she'd have a hard time trying to find something to talk about with her or relate to her. any ideas between the two??

[ aric ] juni will probably have a negative view of him just because he's so close to the emperor and she's against that. in general, they might not butt heads a lot but she will definitely try to dodge being around him considering he's threatening taking away a "new life" for her.

[ ophelia ] what a sweetheart <33 maybe a mother and daughter relationship between the two? i could see ophelia trying to comfort juni when she's all confused or hurt and in general be pretty good friends. it might be kinda cute for juniper to run to her whenever she's upset, because she had a close relationship with her mother and now lacks that same comfort in the dream-world.

[ julian ] the two might have been pretty good friends if their beliefs didnt clash so much. in general, julian is the enemy and juni can't forget that (even if they're names are so close and that's adorable). she'll do anything to protect nicholas and as he's the main threat to just that, she'll most likely never forgive him. that being said, she wouldn't be blunt about it but would always shy away from him.

[ ezra ] because i am struggling to put out all of this, you know the trio thing we're gonna try for lmao. but yes, close friends would be adorable and ezra is a delicate flower child that juni will be hecka protective of.

[ milena ] talk about hecka big role model for juni. she might be vicious, but her intelligence and beauty sort of overwhelms the girl. i think she could probably manipulate juniper into really doing what ever she wants, because despite being a dream-born juni would be incredibly loyal to her.

[ nicholas ] save the best for last lmao. in general, juniper is incredibly protective of him almost to the point to where she might nag him here and there. he's her last link to the other side and so she treats him like such. at times her relationship might get blurred to where she sees him as a friend or as just an object she can use to get through, but he does hold a special place in her heart that she can't deny. juniper will stick with him 24/7, be clingy, etc.. which might definitely get on nicky's nerves. ill pm you for more info <33

twenty three years old. visited the dream world so often it lead him to drop out of college and move back in with his parents so
they could monitor his health, as he himself didn't care about his well being anymore because who needs a healthy body when u
have this incredible dream world to go to instead? he's been in and out of the hospital for months and is now stuck in what appears
to be his final coma. he is completely fascinated with the dream world and loves everything about it. he is rather naive and does
not know much about the emperor and empress' battle but like who cares its dream world its huge nothing bad could effect him
i mean srsly guys hop off let him do what he wants he's an adult he knows whats good for himself jeez. very stubborn n artless.
gotta think up some more connections for everyone else's babes but if you have one or think one up totally shoot it my way man.

mark... seeing as he has the determination to keep physical borns from dying into dream borns i can see the two having a very
flustering relationship. nicky wants to die, to stay in dream world forever because its so much better than reality for him. on the
flip side, mark wants him to live because he knows staying here isn't all its cracked up to be and blah blah blah. i see a bit of bro
mentality; mark is the older wiser one who just wants whats best for nick and nick is the younger naive one who doesn't want to
listen and "knows whats best for himself" and all that jazz. you pickin up what i'm puttin out?

august... much friendship very buds. though as nicky wants to stay in the dream world so bad he could very well be a bad influence
on auggie by telling him all the reasons he should stay. he thinks he's helping august bc dream world is the best duhhh but in reality
he's only making it harder for everyone who wants to save him bc its not like nick isn't making valid points (the big one being that his
sister is here and if he left he'd never see her again) and its beginning to make august question whether or not he wants to be saved.

antonia... doesn't like nick being do close to her brother. sees nick's naivety as a danger to august because she's trying so hard to
get him back and nick is just over here like dude why just chill man its great here and toni is like um no stop get away you don't
know what's good for him i do okay bye shoo.

aric... nicky is so easily influenced it would be a crime not to have the justices take special interest in him. aric really feeds into
nick's opinions and fascinations of the dream world and maybe aric can even stretch the truth about certain things to make them
seem all the more appeasing to nick? juniper wants him to stay away from her bby because she's desperate to get nick home. idk,
its whatever you want man, but bottom line nick surely doesn't view aric as the villain he is bc dream world for the win.

juniper... oh yeah. she's gonna get on nick's nerves. big time. though he appreciates her thought and care and all, no matter how
selfish it is on her part, he's convinced he knows whats good for himself and doesn't want her help. they're v close regardless and
when she's not nagging him about dying and all they actually have a lot of fun together.
