-Softgaze-

Softgaze padded back to the nursery and settled down to keep an eye on the kits as well as eat. She quickly ate the piece of prey she'd chosen and then groomed her face. She had just finished and was once more watching the kits, smiling lightly at Dustkit and Stormkit's stories, when her own kits finally woke up and padded over to her. She smiled lightly, nuzzling them each in turn as they sat down near her,"Good morning."She purred, and smiled when they returned her reply.She heard Lionkit's stomach growl,and smiled with amusement."You three must be hungry, go get yourself something from the freshkill pile to share, but mind that you don't take anything bigger then what you'll eat."She mews sternly but with a warm loving smiled that echoed in her mismatched gaze.

-Lionkit-

Lionkit smiled happily and nodded eagerly, he felt like he could eat a whole badger! "We won't Softgaze!"He mewed still smiling before bounding over to the freshkill pile,his littermates hot at his heels. Aware that his mother was keeping an eye on them, he sniffed around the pile for something he and his littermates could share.

-Sandkit-

Sandkit looked around the freshkill pile carefully, seeing a small rabbit she pulled it down and over to her littermates,"How about this?"She suggests, frowning when Lionkit and Vinekit shake they're heads.Looking back at it, she guessed it was because even a small rabbit was pretty big.She put it back on the bottom of the pile.

-Vinekit-

Vinekit looked around the pile with her littermates, till her mismatched gaze fell on a stale but well-sized vole.She picked up and carried it over to her littermates."How about this?"She asked, after putting it down.They nodded to hungry to really argue or point out that it was probably stale.She picked it up and the three of them headed back to the nursery. They settled beside their mother and began sharing the piece of prey.

Lilyfoot

The queen smiled at Dustkit, making his first official friend. She passed over to him, and meowed, "Dustkit, remember that you have to sleep when Softgaze or I tell you too. It's important." The queen continues to the fresh-kill pile, and grabs a rabbit, chewing slowly. She looks at Softgaze and smiled.

Dustkit

The kit nods and meowed, "Yes Liyfoot." He looked at Stormkit, "See later!" The kit ran across the camp, and smiled at Lionkit. "Play?" He asked, sitting near the kit.

Sootkit

The kit was still asleep, but hearing meows and yelps, he awoke, his ear twitching. He holwed annoyedly, and looked at Softgaze. He stopped, and nudged Owlkit. "Up!" He yelped.

Owlkit

"No!" He said tiredly, but looked at him anyway. "Story?" He meowed, and Sootkit nods. "Once a cat couple, Poppy and Slips, loners wandered into Rainclan. They accepted, warriors called Poppyseed, Sliptail." He flicked his tail, "They in fight, big war. They both lived! Lived happily ever after." He meowed, wanting to see how this affects Sootkit.

Sootkit

He nods, and smiles. "Good!" He yelped happily, seeing Poppyseed in his mind, and Sliptail too.

-Lionkit-

Lionkit smiled at him,"Sure, just give me a second."He anserws. He quickly ate his part of the piece of prey he and his siblings where sharing before licking his lip. No longer hungry, he looked kindly at the younger tom."What did you want to play?"He asked.

-Vinekit-

Vinekit watched her brother gulp down his food with amusement, while she and Sandkit ate their's at a normal speed. She smiled as she ate,watching the other kits curiously as she did so.

-Softgaze-

Softgaze smiled kindly at Lilyfoot and nodded in greeting, before watching the rest of the kits with a warm smile. She glanced over at Stormkit and then Spikekit, wondering if she should remind them to eat. In the end she pushed the thought aside, knowing that they would eat when they were hungry.

Dustkit

"What you want to?" He asked, cocking his head curiously. He smiles happily and looks at Softgaze and then turns away. He returned his gaze to the small kit.

Lionkit looks down at the younger kit thoughtfully, before smiling lightly."Why don't we play moss ball?"He suggests.

Stormkit- When dustkit asked about her parents, she replied to him hesititently. '' My mother's dead. My father is somewhere. alive.'' But the younger kit had already bounded off. smiling in amusement at his innocence, Stormkit watched the others play, daydreaming pleasantly of Moonshadow,sunglow,darkclaw,shimmereyes,sliptail,poppyseed and skywing.

Dustkit

"Mossball!" He yelped happily, and ran, finding moss. He shaped it quickly, and gave it to Lionkit.

Lionkit smiled at the younger tom-kit and grinning took the ball."Do you know how to play?"He asked the young kit, balancing on his back paws slightly to hold the ball.

Dustkit

He shook his head, "Throw?" He meowed, and stretches a little and yawns. He awaited the older kits answer.

Lionkit smiles and nods,"Catch or hit it back, either works. The point is to send it back to the other cat and not to miss. If a cat throws it to you and it lands on the ground you lose."He explains and then smiles."Ready?"He asks with a playful smile.
