"Normally the tribe of endless hunting aids in the search, and this time they have not disappointed." He watched each cat go about their daily routines. Knowing that each of them would look up to the cat that had been chosen.

Sun that shines through storm clouds
I smiled as i watched Stoneteller bound away with Stream, already knowing that my kit would make a fine leader. "Ma---ther---MOTHER" I was jerked out of my thoughts by a very irritated Coal. Sighing, i turned my head to look at him. "What is it hun?" The small tom gave a pout before answering. "I'm bored. Find something for me to play with." Scoffing at his tone, i gave him a light cuff over the head. "That is no way to speak to your mother. You can find something yourself if you keep that up."

Coal that lines cave walls
"Nonononononono, no need for that, i'm sorry!" I squealed, throwing myself at my mother so i could hug her. I could feel her chuckle rumble through her, its force shaking me slightly. "It's alright Coal...why don't you play with that feather." She mewed, and pointed at a stray one sticking out of our nest with her tail. Smiling, i slid off my mom and tackled the feather, acting as though it was an eagle. Glow soon joined in, and we battled the "bird" together.

Moon that glows in the night sky
"Die foul beast!" Coal shouted as i let out a war cry, both of us batting at the "eagle" with our paws, jumping on top of one another to get to the stray feather. This continued for a while before we both collapsed with exhaustion, having spent all the energy in our tiny bodies on playing.

Water that runs through the stream bed
"Who have they helped you choose?" I asked softly, hoping it would be me. Because then mama would be proud, and i would be so happy.

He smiled lightly. "They chose you, and I second their decision." He nodded, "But you still have a while till your training begins." He stretched, standing up.

He purred. "Might as well get you back to your mother." He picked the kit up and carried him back to the nursery, purring the whole way. Setting the kit down by her brother and sister.

Bright sighed, she only wished for some excitement in her life. I wish I was a prey-hunter... She thought glumly. She thought of the prey-hunters, chasing prey as the wind ruffled their pelts.
She averted her eyes from the blank space in front of her, and watched a feather drift by.

Personality: River doesn't really tolerate kits, and if he has kits, will only visit them while they're sleeping or when they're not making noise. Rain is highly sensitive to noise and is very patient, which makes for a great hunter. However, once he gets angry, he loses all patience and will snap at the slightest mistake.
Backstory: He was born into the tribe and lived a normal life, the only pot-hole being his getting lost as a to-be.
