The she-cat snorted in response. "If only." Her bushy tail flicked,"Besides, if I was to have a mate I'm not sure if I could even have kits of my own." As mousebrain as it sounded, that was something Quietrain often worried about. It was true, if she had been a warrior, she would've probably already taken a mate by now. She was quite pretty, for 'standards,' with her pretty pelt and soft blue eyes, but it wouldn't even happen.

The she-cat nearly retched when the kittypet's tail made contact with her sleek fur. "I was better before I was forced to speak with you," she mewed haughtily. With a low growl, she stood up abruptly and brushed his tail off her back before looking over to where Jaystorm was looking. Her eyes made contact with the loner who sat beside Quietrain and she bristled once more. "Hmph, pay no attention to him. He's worth no more than crowfood," she huffed, turning away with her nose to the air.

Holding back a sigh, the golden tom turned towards the entrance 'till he heard Leopardfoot speak once more, this time talking about a defenseless rogue tom nearby. "That's a harebrained thing to say. He could be a new member soon and besides, I was a rogue once too," Hawktalon mewed, a bit of anger creeping into his voice as he focused his teal gaze on Leopardfoot, now standing stock still. if she says one more negative thing about him I'll challenge her to a spar match and clear things up that way. Follow after Jaystorm then, Hawktalon snorted softly. Great Starclan. How can she be so rude and cruel?

Leopardfoot found that she enjoyed the act of enraging Hawktalon a bit too much. However, she knew that the tom could easily maul her and she preferred to keep her sleek pelt in its usual groomed manner. With that, she clamped her jaws shut as she stared at the back of Hawktalon's head. Now, the spotted she-cat respected Jaystorm, but if continued to act so buddy-buddy with any loner, that could easily change in a heartbeat.
