Have you guys ever tried to keep a dæmon journal? I have some and they're so fun to write. Nothing feels better than reading about what your dæmon was saying or reacting to. XD It's a fun hobby, and it improves projecting and dialogue.

I have been totally inactive for the past year or two, but a lot has happened since then and I wanted to use this site again, and I've also gotten more into daemonism, as I've found that it's extremely useful for dealing with my anxiety at times!

Anyway, I'm Frayah, though I often go by Miki or my actual name, Donnielle. The daemon is named Naoknoch, currently stable as an Eastern Quoll. When I was younger (read: like two years ago) I switched his name a ton, so we've been through plenty of names, most recently Mauricius and then Borzakovsky.

As for the whole anxiety thing, I've found that whenever I'm feeling bad, or about to have a panic attack (or just had one), it's extremely comforting to have Naoknoch there. He provides a nice sense of security as well as plenty of support, and tbh that is definitely something I need.

I hope to be far more active on here, and if anyone has any questions about daemonism (or if you just wanna chat) feel free to shoot me a message!

nope! i don't plan on telling them anytime soon.

How did you come up with your daemon's name?
Gerald literally... just popped into my mind. later on my friend on TDF helped me come up with his longer, formal name. first it was Branninger and had some meaning but ended up evolving into the meaningless Brinninger it is today.

What is you and your daemon's favorite thing to do together?
we like watching anime together! (and making silly comments) also going for walks! oh, and listening to classical music together!!
edit: looking at arm museums/galleries/shows is a super fun and relaxing thing to do together too!!

Nope, and I doubt I'd ever tell them!

How did you come up with your daemon's name?
I'm not sure. For a while he was called Ramses because I once dreamed that I met a silver fox with that name, but it just didn't fit. We kept looking for names everywhere. When I'd see a cool name in a book or on a website, I'd ask if he liked it. Eventually, we settled on Erastus and later changed the spelling to Erastos. Nickname is Tos :3

What is you and your daemon's favorite thing to do together?
We're so different, it's ridiculous! He loves it when I clean my room and do my homework and finish my chores. I always procrastinate, haha ^^'
The only thing we both 100% enjoy is going for long walks in the forest.

How did you come up with your daemon's name?

Vee didn't really have a name for a few months. She wanted something edgy, I wanted something simplistic. And we kind of went back and forth between Xhi and Vera, and eventually we settled for Vee. And later on, we kind of added onto it? Thus, Veetanuim was made. (Still call her Vee though.)

What is you and your daemon's favorite thing to do together?

We like to travel a lot, so even just going on a walk is nice for the both of us. Too bad I'm Queen Procrastinate and I'm lazy... XD We use the "walk the dogs" excuse though.
She likes when I draw too, since my mind tends to wander and I just doodle all over the pages with whatever. Helps us both relax.

Do your parents know about your daemon? I briefly explained the concept to my mother once, but she doesn't know any more than that, and has probably forgotten what I did tell her by now. She took it well enough after she understood it has nothing to do with actual demons. She's rather religious that way.

How did you come up with your daemon's name? The very first form I tried out was a Red Fox. Since they come in a rainbow of colors, I had a hard time trying to decide which to go with. My partner thought cross foxes looked the coolest, even though I was, personally, more partial to the red and silver varieties. Anyways, though the fox days are long gone, the name 'Cross', has stuck.

What is you and your daemon's favorite thing to do together? We enjoy walking together the most. Going to class, running errands, taking my dog out; it doesn't matter. As long as we're moving, it's good enough for us.

Also, a daemon journal sounds kind of fun. I think I shall try it! ...Maybe. Habits are so hard to form, y'all.

do your parents know about your daemon?
nope ! i would never consider telling my father, but i might broach the topic with my mom in the future. i've only told one friend about arkaine and she seems a little uncomfortable with the whole thing, so now i'm a little nervous to mention it to anyone. eue

how did you come up with your daemon's name?
ark was originally named luzerio, a name that randomly popped into my head one night. that name became ill fitting about a year ago, and for some reason i started using the nickname ark; it just seemed to fit. we experimented with some full versions with ark as part of the name, and only settled on arkaine midsummer.

what is you and your daemon's favorite thing to do together?
walking and listening to music. we have lots of conversations while walking, and he likes to dramatically sing along to songs.


out of curiosity, are any of you guys members of TDF - the daemon forum? it's a site structured similarly to cs, but exclusively for those interested in daemonism. c:
