avery was raised in an interesting situation. her parents were extremely rich and liked to travel the world. one day when avery was fourteen her parents went on a cruise around europe but went missing. avery was left with her nanny and her older sister who never came out of her room. avery ended up going to school but her sister ignored her wherever she went. avery was never really popular but she did end up becoming a cheerleader and volleyball player for her great enthusiasm and optimism. she had a lot of spirit and people admired her for it. she really enjoyed being around people and being social. she had lots of good friends & is super excited for college.

brooklyn is the mistreated child. a young actress at heart her childhood was not so bad until she met a girl she could not stand. this girl took her spot in theater. when brooklyn got the lead in a musical it wasn't instantly taken by this girl. brooklyn couldn't compete. she lost all of her leads and became extremely depressed and angry. she also lived in a very abusive family. theater and singing had been her way out and now even that was ruined. a few months in to high school she ended up dyeing her hair blue to show off her anger and sadness. it went from blue to green to even purple throughout high school. she likes to keep it at a medium between blue and green these days. besides her being a total jerk though she does have a nice side. she closes it off with coldness and being mean all because of her past but there is goodness in her. people just have to be good enough to find it in her. its hard and its buried deep inside her but there is good and always will be.

Linden, also called Lindy by his grandparents, grew up an only child in Inverness, Scotland. He was orphaned at a young age, as his parents died in a car accident when he was 3. He doesn't remember them much and grew up with his grandparents. He had 2 cats growing up, and his grandpa was an adventure story writer and his grandma was language teacher. His grandmother was also Welsh, and they spoke it at home regularly, so he learned bit by bit as well as English. He grew up nicely, and while he does miss his parents, he never knew them long. They're just an echo, and he only really knows about them from stories other people have told him.

Linden was never very good at sports, and was never the most eloquent kid ever either. He excelled at intellectual things though, especially languages and history. He took Latin in highschool and has a pretty decent vocabulary in that too. When he got the scholarship he was bubbling with excitement, if a little confused. He can't wait to start his life here.
