He nodded and watched as Stormpaw caught the minnow. "Okay." Greypaw meowed and got to his paws. He padded closer to the river and sat down. The apprentice looked down at the water. He made sure his shadow didn't touch, just like Stormpaw had instructed. Greypaw spotted one and unsheated his claws. He waited for the perfect moment and then pulled it out of the water. Greypaw then bent his head and killed it before it could escape.

Stormpaw purred with excitement, "Great job for your first go!" He praised his denmate with a small swish of his tail on his friends back.

Hunter nodded, standing himself about a cat-length away from the apprentice. He made sure that his claws remained sheathed, his tail twitching in excitement. The corners of his mouth crept up into a smile, as he couldn't help but shiver in anticipation, "I'm set and ready to go!" he meowed excitedly.

Hawkfeather scented the air and sure enough smelt it too. "I smell it too! Lets follow the scent..."

Wild was shocked at her question. "You do seem a bit bigger... probably!" he said excitedly.
