They are called twelfth-born, and are not 'freaks' per say, they're just gifted people who are destined to save their world...
The twelfth-born are just normal human beings... with a few... abnormalities...
They have powers, super smarts? Sure. Wings? Why not? Shape-shifting? Awesome... and possible!
You name it, you can be it, if you're a twelfth-born.
But there's a catch, anyone who is discovered to be a twelfth-born is thrown out to die, for a reason, of course.
Your leaders say it's because they're just too powerful.
But no. Your leaders are plotting with a deadly enemy against this world, and the twelfth-born... let's just say they could save their world, and they don't want that to happen.
What will you do? Plot with the enemy to avoid death? Or join the rebellion... and save the world?

Ember Pennington / 12 / Ember naturally has midback length, curly, flame red hair that can be a bit unruly at times. Whenever she takes the time to try to straighten her thick hair, it goes past her waist, giving her a completely different look, but she rarely does that since it takes forever. Ember has very fair skin that doesn't tan and rarely burns as well as bright emerald eyes and a beautiful, bright smile. She stands at a short height of 4'6 and weights around 78 pounds but doesn't let her slender and petite form get in the way that she lives / Ember is a very shy and reserved girl whom barely speaks even to her close friends. She prefers to either be by herself or with a small group of close friends but don't ever ask her to speak to more than five people at once or else she will freeze up. He has very chiseled and prominent features, making him look eerily perfect. His right eye is a pale icy blue while his left is an eerie crimson red, the whites being instead black and a sinister scar crossing over his eye as well, which he covers with his long bangs / Cold and mysterious, this male is a hard person to deal with. He's not very trusting and very hard to read, being that he's usually silent and devoid of emotion.
