A beautiful and mysterious she-cat lurks in the shadows, following you. You realize you are being followed and turn to confront your pursuer. The she-cat steps out of the shadows and greets you. "Hello, I am Featherstar, the leader of Shadow Clan." She meows calmly. "I see you are out here on your own. Would you like to join my clan?" Her words are smooth and welcoming. She take you to her camp, where you meet her clanmates.. Will you stay and join the clan? Or will you remain a rogue.. The choice is yours.

This is Shadow Clan, where clanmates are friends, but are the toughest of all the clans. Our camp is a secluded meadow in a dense forest. Our leader's den has moss over the mouth when privacy is needed. We also have our warrior and apprentice dens. We also have a nursery and a den for our elders. Last is our medicine cat den, and our High Rock for clan meetings. Outside of camp, we have our training hollow as well as our hunting grounds Nearby is a lake and a river if fishing is your fancy.

If you happen to be a kittypet, this is your neighborhood. And the back yards near the forest.

2. Post all forms in the discussion thread.
3. Fade to black when needed
-Failure to due so will result in a 1 week ban. 2nd offence is 2 weeks, 3rd is a permanent ban.
4. No powerplaying or godplaying
5. No mating/crushing self or kin
6. Try to keep genders even
7. No cussing, warrior cursing is allowed.
8. No killing without owner's permission
9. Drama is totally allowed, don't go overboard.
10. If you want your cat in a prophecy, PM me!
11. Don't go 10+ pages without me (just try, at least)
12. When in ooc, please make it obvious with () or []
13. You can have as many cats as you can handle
14. Post in the discussion thread if you aren't going to be active for 3+ days. I understand because I have a job

(This can be broken for the sake of drama and such cx)

1. Defend your Clan, even with your life. You may have friendships with cats from the other Clans, but your loyalty must remain to your Clan, as one day you may meet them in battle.

2. Do not hunt or trespass on another Clan's territory.

3. Elders and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors. Unless they have permission, apprentices may not eat until they have hunted to feed the elders.

4. Prey is killed only to be eaten. Give thanks to StarClan for its life.

5. A kit must be at least six moons old to become an apprentice.

6. Newly appointed warriors will keep a silent vigil for one night after receiving their
warrior name.

7. A cat cannot be made deputy without having mentored at least one apprentice.

8. The deputy will become Clan leader when the leader dies or retires.

9. After the death or retirement of the deputy, the new deputy must be chosen
before moonhigh.

10. A gathering of all four Clans is held at the full moon during a truce that lasts for the night. There shall be no fighting among Clans at this time.

11. Boundaries must be checked and marked daily. Challenge all trespassing cats.

12. No warrior may neglect a kit in pain or in danger, even if that kit is from a different Clan.

13. The word of the Clan leader is the warrior code.

14. An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win his battles, unless they are outside the warrior code or it is necessary for self-defense.

15. A warrior rejects the soft life of a kittypet.

Featherstar was laying in the shade of a tall elm tree near the edge of camp. She gazed around, checking the hedges surrounding their protected home. Everything seemed to be in order. Scenting the air, there seemed to be no threat. The leader was quite relaxed and calm, knowing everything was at peace, and everycat was safe at the moment.

Flamekit was curled up in the nursery, asleep. He dreamt of mice and the vast forest. A fierce hunter, he wanted to be.

Scarlet twitches her ears, forward and then back, a fluffy white kit dangling from her jaws as a dark grey one follows warilly by her side.
"Momma...Where are we going...?" The white kit in her jaws ask.
Its the dark grey one that replies. "To join the wild cats!" Her green eyes sparkle at the thought.
Scarlet gently sets down her daughter, explaining further. "Storm is right dear...Hopefully they will take us in," she mews kindly. The red feline had wanted to join the moment she fled her twolegs a few sunrises prior. Yet, she had sensed some hostility coming from the border (mothers intuition) and stayed away. Now though, she was getting desprate. "Come Storm. Dawn. Its not much further!" She assures, hoping her words were true. Her kits were tired and she herself wasnt faring much better...

Nightshade let out a soft sigh, gazing out from under the soft shade of the tree she was sitting under. Not seeing anything else to do, she gently lapped at her soft chest fur, her black fur glossy as usual. Despite her sometimes aloof behavior, she loved having a clean pelt. An odd habit that she had gained from simply not doing much else. She ran of course, but besides that she usually never had much to do, especially back when she first joined some moons ago

WaningPaw looked around the camp, wondering where everyone was. Probably still asleep or relaxing or on a hunt... He mewed softly to himself before he walked towards the edge of the camp. No one seemed to be near enough to stop him from escaping... He quickly crossed into the territory and out of the camp and smiled. Easy! He looked around, wondering what else he should do...

Flint padded on as his pelt brushed on some leaves. I cant believe I left Shadowclan, again. He mewed to himself.
Flint skidded to a halt as he passed a tree, looking back in the direction of the Clan. "Should I go back?" He whispered.
He decided to get back into the Clan as he realized he felt lonely on the moor. Flint started to pelt his way to the forest. Spotting a rabbit racing along he started to chase it. Chasing the plump rabbit, he reached out a paw and swiped the rabbits tail. He started to speed up and flex his claws, dodging a few bushes as he passed them. Flint sped up enough to reach the rabbit as he dashed up. He missed the rabbit from a few fox-lenghts as he sheathed his claws. "It was so close," He muttered, breathing hard. "Too bad I cant hunt like a Windclan cat."
Flint started to pad along the path he came from to get back to his Clan.

Featherstar stood up and stretched out her forelegs, yawning. She looked around then quietly padded over to the freshkill pile, which was sadly lacking in prey. I'll need to send out a hunting patrol soon.. she thought to herself. Grabbing a plump mouse, she padded back over to her shady spot under the elm tree and munched on her snack. She hadn't eaten in quite a while so the food was welcomed. She watched over her clan carefully, glimpsing Waningpaw leave the camp. With a small sigh, she continued to eat. The young apprentice was quite the bother when he would go sneaking off, but no matter what she did, he would continue to do so. He needs a mentor.. perhaps Silverstrike, or Tigereye. She shook her head. I'll figure that out later, and discuss it with my warriors. She finished her mouse and licked her maw clean.

Flamekit awoke and bounded out of the nursery. He spotted Nightshade and padded over to her. His nap had left him well rested and happy. "Hello Nightshade! How are you today?" He mewed, sitting next to the warrior. Despite his energy, he knew it was best that he sat still while talking to the other cats of the clan. Of all the things not to do, it was annoy his clanmates. If he had other kits to play with, he'd probably do better. That, or be even more of a rascal.

Crimson stretched and rolled onto his back as his twoleg owners called out to him. He heard the familiar clatter of food falling into the metal dish nearby. Not a moment too soon. He purred happily. Slowly, he got up and stretched then padded over to eat the dry bits of food he was given. They never satisfied the cravings he had, he always wanted something different. In his dreams, he chased mice in the huge, mysterious forest behind his home. He hoped to one day actually catch the mice, and know what they tasted like. Finishing his meal, he stretched once more then padded through the opening to the yard he so loved to play in. He spotted a flash of color and dashed after it. Catching the colorful creature in his paws, he let it go, and realized it was a butterfly. They were one of his favorite bugs to watch fly around.
