((@ Slothzilla: accepted
@ everyone: check who your matches are on the first page, and be sure to read ALL of my next post. The matchmaker uses challenges to understand a client's personality and hopefully get the right match for them. The matches under the rules may change later on, but those are the current permanent matches (what the matchmaker is aiming for in the long run based on the information the forms provided). Challenges (especially the first few) don't follow the set matches, to further understand, please be sure to read my next post.)))

Welcome to the Clarenceville Matchmaking Mansion! Of course, matchmaking isn't an easy task, and what fun would a lazy summer be? As a Mystic, you did arrive here quite late last night, and I may have decided to start the summer off with a bang this morning. (Hey, I gotta show the mortals what they're in for sometime). Anyways... Theres a dragon loose on the island, it already did a ton of damage to the other half of the mansion (maybe I put one too many sleeping aids in your meal last night), but your potential match is stuck in the rubble! Quick, get to your feet and go save them! If they're a mortal, they could be on the brink of death!

The walls are pretty strong, but its nothing to the dragon's strength. There is a key hidden within the clock's gears that will open the door and let you out. You could either do that or hope that your match will come help you soon.

The dragon is heading straight for it and soon her fragile body might be crushed under the rubble. Attached to this note is a key to the tower door. (This isn't a joke either, you wouldn't believe how much this dragon costs to rent, so you best be on your way!)

Of course I can't actually let anyone get critically injured due to lawsuit reasons, so attached to this note is a vial of a healing potion. DON'T drink all of it at once as you don't know how long it will take your match to help you out. However as a mystic, maybe if you got to full strength, you could save yourself, but thats up to you.

You could wait for a potential match to save you, or you could look for a spell or potion to help you. either way, it isn't looking too good for you.

((I figured that there could be a mix up when characters rescue (Alister, Vane or Zella) from the rubble so those pairings aren't really defined, just rp off of whatever your characters' note says.))

Vanendra:
The bookshelves had tented themselves above her, emptying their contents on and around her. There was a creaking noise coming from the wooden shelves, and Vane knew that they wouldn't hold much longer with the ceiling, wall, and other shelves falling down upon it. She grimaced as she tried to rummage through the constant piling of books for one that would be of use for her. As she did that, her fingers made contact with a note. Upon reading it, she was a bit more ticked off that this was all just ruse that the Matchmaker had planned.

Renzii:
All Renzii could remember was flying through the air and ending up in water. Somehow he had managed to pull himself up onto a floating piece of wood, something that looked like it belonged to his bed. After a few minutes of choking on some water that had managed to get into his lungs, Ren sat up to get a hold of his surroundings. As he itched his forehead, a note came away. He wasn't too sure what to make of it... Until he saw the water bubbling slightly nearby. Renzii grabbed the pen and made sure that all of his body was ontop of the piece of drift wood. He wasn't much of a morning person at all, and if he really had to battle whatever this was, he was going to be in an even worse mood for the rest of the day. "Dragons, water monsters... Are you freakin kidding me?!!"

Joan Chevalier • human • running down the hallway • untagged
Joan woke up to the sound of a roar in the distance, feeling groggy. Reflexively , she reached for the bedside table, where her alarm had been in her own room. Instead, Joan's hand found a note, which she read. Then, finding it a little hard to believe, she read it again. Ha! said Joan's early morning brain there is no such thing as a dragon!!
Outside her window, there was a roar.
Joan bolted out of her bed and to the window, from which she could see a plume of smoke, rising over the opposite side of the building.
She didn't even bother to look for the dragon itself, which may or may not have even existed; instead Joan shoved her boots over her pajama bottoms, yanked on her robe, and took of running towards the runined parts of the building without hesitation.

Joash Mallon • cherufe • hallway • untagged
A dragon. Joash stared at his note in disbelief. Who was this crazy Matchmaker, and why would they rent a dragon? It was technically illegal, not to mention immoral, to put your guests lives in danger like this, right? He glanced down his note again, unsettled, and read, again: ... and soon her fragile body might be crushed under the rubble...
Right. Weather it was immoral or not, it was happening.
Taking a calming breath, Joash rolled out of bed and yanked on a pair of pants and his shoes, shoving the note and attached key into his pocket. Pulling on his shirt, the boy stumbled out into the hallway.

Hello Yuri,

Welcome to the Clarenceville Matchmaking Mansion! Of course, matchmaking isn't an easy task, and what fun would a lazy summer be? As a Mortal, you did arrive here just in time for dinner last night, (maybe I put one too many sleeping aids in your meal last night), and I may have decided to start the summer off with a bang this morning. (Hey, I gotta show the you what you're in for this summer). Anyways... Theres a dragon loose on the island, it already did a ton of damage to the other half of the mansion, but your potential match is stranded at sea currently struggling against a giant squid. The impact must've launched them into the water! You have to be quick! If they're another mortal, they are probably already on the brink of death!!

"..." The brow of the half-asleep young man furrowed almost immediately from the moment he read "sleeping aid" and could only progressively worsen as he continued skirting over the note with his gray eyes, both disbelief and uncertainty blossoming within him in a matter of seconds. Well. This would be a fun experience right off the bat, wouldn't it? As hard as it was to believe, he certainly didn't distrust the note; as he liked to think, anything was possible. Plus, of course, there was a harsh, constant roar outside of the mansion that told him the same. Yuri released a heavy, put-upon sigh before running a hand through his frazzled, usually silky long hair, shutting his eyes briefly and gathering himself. However, he did have to get up at some point; the note seemed to be quite accurate, judging from the sound of the dragon outside-as well as the totally wrecked part of the mansion that he could see bits of from all over outside his window- so he decided to get up and slip into his shoes before full-on jumping out of the window, landing with a roll--and, of course, a rather painful rush in his shoulders and legs that told him he certainly screwed something up inside himself with that landing-- and heading toward the sandy, beach-like part of the island, letting the bits of stray rubble and debris guide his way with his adrenaline pumping well enough to mask the pain throbbing within him with each step.

He, of course, still had no idea at all how he was going to fight off a giant squid, but the least he could do was help once he got there. Potential match or not, it was still a person in danger over there. When he arrived, he skidded to a halt just before he got to the water, certainly looking like quite the knight in shining armor; plaid pajama pants and a white t-shirt looked a lot like armor, right? Humor aside, he was a bit at a stand-still; he could see someone laying across a large piece of driftwood with something small in his hands, exclaiming something in what seemed to be disbelief or outrage. If anything, he could try and make sure nothing was unnecessarily amputated or bleeding... "...hey! Are you alright out there?" he called, glancing around for something to let him go out there. He could see bubbling water from where he stood near the young man; was it wise to just throw danger to the wind and rambunctiously dive in?

    For Yuri? Sure was.

He dove straight into the water and was briefly taken under before he swiftly surfaced and began swimming in powerful motions toward the rather large piece of driftwood, keeping an eye on the seemingly about-to-surface...thing as best as a defenseless human being could. At least he was quick; in a matter of a few lengthened moments, he was at the other person--a young man, looking tired or discombobulated or some sort of sluggish-- and holding onto the bit of driftwood, gray eyes shooting over to the patch of bubbles. "...mentioned a giant squid..." he muttered, wishing he'd grabbed that paper before he'd gone off and left.

;;whoop wow i got a lot of muse for this hahah
if i went too fast i'm sorry ;u; i'm used to writing a lot in one post and going through a lot of stuff all at once

.:Zella:.

I looked up as my eyes fluttered open. I saw the roof bending inward further then it should have been. (italics mean she is seeing the future) The roof started to cave in and I was going to be crushed by rubble. Quickly I darted under my bed as the roof collapsed. I was stuck under my bed. Beside me there was a note with a potion. I read through it. "Seriously I am stuck here until some one descides to rescue me!" I said in an exasperated tone.
