ooc;; @munchkin, sandstar called a clan meeting for mothkit and frozenkit to be apprenticed. new mentors are mothpaw = lynxclaw and frozenpaw = hickorygale. other than that, nothing has happen.

(I believe Frozenpaw is with Lynxclaw. And Mothpaw is with Hickorygale. =) Everything okay Munchkin? Thistlekit and Maplekit ran off into the forest while Lunarwing was distracted they have been play fighting although they aren't to good at the keep your claws sheathed. Now they are exploring. Stormflight came out and rasped his tongue along Lunarwing's ear before going on a hunt with Spikeflame )

Adderbite followed behind her, his tail flicking "Where would you like to hunt?" he purred, his pelt brushing hers as he caught up. He could smell the sweet sent of prey, his ears flickering to the noises in the bush but they quickly scurried away.

Thistlekit let out a hiss "I could beat you if I really wanted too." he meowed, lashing out at her tail, claws unsheathed. He didn't dig into the skin, but left a slight scratch enough to sting. His eyes glinted playfully. He could feel the soft dirt move beneath his claws as he dug them into the soil, his heart pounding excitedly.

Adderbite flicked his ears forward, thinking of a good spot with rocks "there are some mountains just a little ways outside of the territory." he meowed, stepping closer to her. His mind still lingered on the kits back in camp, the conversation he had had with Acorntail, but he held his tongue. Instead, he gave her a questioning glance and waited.

Adderbite took the lead, his mouth open to scent the air. He could smell the fresh tang of water and hoped the river wasn't to large to cross. As they approached, he caught sight of the bubbling water. It was low, and slow moving. They would be able to cross in no time. "You're going to need to get your paws wet" he purred, fondly remembering their day down river. But the fondness was suddenly blocked by the snarls of a fox. He shook himself back to reality and stared out at the open space before him. There was no fox here now, not even the faint scent of one. They were safe.

(Should someone get bit or should they kill it and bring it back to the camp, only to learn how dangerous it is? Or both, Thistlekit really wants to kill it. Oh and I talked to olive, Thistlekit is going to be an antagonist)

Thistlekit stuck out a paw, his claws colliding with the skin of the snake. He felt the smooth scales rip between his claws and a sudden calmness settled over him. Blood pounded in his ears as blood welled from the snake. He leapt back quickly as it's fangs darted for him, surprised himself by the quickness in his small paws.

Adderbite stuck a paw in, the cool water sinking into his fur. He relaxed some, letting the water cool of his pelt as he sank lower and lower until he was swimming across. He pulled himself up the slop, his fur dripping as he glanced playfully towards Goldstripe. he shook his pelt out, making sure the water would hit her, and purred. Just as quickly, he scooted closer and rasped his tongue along her shoulder, attempting to dry her pelt.

As the snake turned it's head back towards Maplekit he lunged, his tiny teeth sinking into the soft neck of the snake. The creature convulsed in his jaws, attempting to turn it's head to bite him, but Thistlekit had locked his jaw perfectly and the snake was unable to reach him. Finally, the creature fell limp in his jaws and a pride surged over him. He dropped the creature at his paws and looked up at Maplekit. "We did it!" he purred, jumping over to her. "Should we take it back to the clan and show them how great we are!" he meowed, his tail flickering.

Moonfleck spotted the small pelt of a rabbit hidden in the dense underbrush. She quickly scented the air, noting that she was downwind of the rabbit. The creature wouldn't smell her. She swiped her tail in front of Acorntail as she ducked down into a crouch, her body moving as one as she slunk across the ground on silent paws. The sweet scent washed over her as she got closer, only a tail length away. Quickly, she shifted her body before leaping, her claws sinking into the soft flesh. The rabbit started to squeal but was cut off short as Moonfleck grasped it's neck in her jaw. The body fell limp and she immediately sat up straight and trotted proudly towards Acorntail.
