Whiskey whimpered in her cage, watching her pack free other members. The cage she was in, was too small for the shepherd mix to do much of anything. She just wanted to be free.. She didn't see why it had to be like this. She let out a small bark to make sure they wouldn't forget to unlock her cage. Whiskey scratched anxiously at the cage door, her claws worn down from the past days in the cage.
Daemon laid in his cage, calmly waiting to be let out. Even if these mutts didn't let him out, he had a plan for when the humans came back. The rottweiler flicked his black ear and let out a low growl as the white shepherd next to him was scratching at her cage. Annoying. All of them. Once he was out of here.. He smirked to himself at the thought. Freedom. Running free, chasing things, eating whatever he wanted, and most of all, away from these mutts.
Hodur anxiously paced in his cage, occasionally ramming against the door with his shoulder. The large mastiff's newly cropped ears flicked around at all the noise. Why wouldn't they let him out? They let the rest out, why not him? Sure, he wasn't part of their stupid pack, but come on. What happened to being civil? Oh yeah. Humans happened. Hodur was one of the dogs the humans in white coats had the most problems with. Because of his size, they weren't able to control him the best and he had bitten someone. They threw him in the cage and he hadn't been let out since. That was a few days ago. The bottom of the cage had been cutting into the pads on his paws and there was dried crusted blood on the bottom wires. It wasn't a lot, but it was there, and it hurt.
