Vinekit smiled playfully and sped up a little, so the she could touch Owlkit lightly with one of her paws carefully. "Tag now your it!"She mews, glad that she had chosen to tag him, since if his brothers 's wails were anything to go by, they didn't want to be tagged.She quickly bounded away from him after, not wanting to be it again so soon.

Owlkit

Owlkit respected this decision and he decided to go after Sootkit. He ran after his brother, and tagged him and meowed, "It!"

Sootkit

Sootkit wailed happily, and he raced after Dustkit, and was to foxleaps away, just about to reach the small, running kit.

Dustkit

Dustkit yowled, and ran away, hiding behind Vinekit in defense. He yelped, "Vinekit!" And ran out from behind him, deflecting the tag from Vinekit. "Welcome." He meowed, racing after Owlkit.

~Rosethorn~

Rosethorn watched as the kits played, Lily's kits taking the first steps. She looked over at her friend Shadowlight who was watching Owlkit with a smile. "You want to mentor him when he gets older, don't you?" Rosethorn said with a knowing smile.

~Shadowlight~

"Yes. I would be happy mentoring any of the kits in the nursery, but I get this feeling that I'm supposed to mentor one of Lily's kits. And I like Owlkit the best." Shadowlight purred.

~Rosethorn~

"I'll be right back." Rosethorn trotted over to the medicine cat's den and grabbed some marigold and a poppy seed and gave it to Sandkit. "Let me put this marigold on your nose to stop infection. And eat this poppy seed, then it won't hurt as much." Rosethorn meowed. "It'll be better in no time."

Softgaze watched Rosethorn come and go with some herbs, and waited patiently for her in her den. She glanced down at Sandkit once more and smiled reassuringly at her daughter, gently licking the top of her head.She knew the scratches on her nose must be stinging but she was proud of her kit for not crying because of it.

-Vinekit-

Vinekit smiled and bounded further away from the kit who was now it,so that she could keep an eye on them and avoid being caught.She thought it was sweet of Dustkit to deflect the the tag from her, but she knew it was a matter of time before she was it again.

~Shadowlight~

Shadow began to wash herself, always keeping one eye on the kits.

Owlkit

Owlkit slowed down and meowed, "Tired, done." He saw Shadowlight nearby and the kit stumbled over to the washing she-cat and meowed, "Hi."

Sootkit

Sootkit still wanted to play and quickly dashed after Vinekit. He raced excitedly after the fast kit and was a few inches away from her, about to jump, to reach her.

Dustkit

Dustkit was sitting on a rock, away from the others. He smiles triumphantly when he sees his plan has worked, staying away from the others, and he hides behind the massive rock.

Vinekit glances over her shoulder at Sootkit with a playful smile, somewhat surprised at how close he was. Laughing lightly she tried to speed up a little, being careful not to bump into anyone as she did so.

Sootkit

Sootkit jumps for Vinekit, and tries to reach the ever-so-fast kit. He ends up on his face, but he hops up, running after Vinekit. He weaves in between cats, muttering something.

Vinekit smiles playfully but decides to let him catch her, so she slows down just the tiniest bit still going pretty fast, just not as fast.She glances behind her to see how close Sootkit is, not wanting to make this to easy for him either.
