Hello and Welcome to OWL University

OWL, or opportunities without limits, is a prestigious university for the arts

In order to be accepted into OWL you must have a diverse portfolio showcasing your skills and personality



OWL is spread among 4 main sections, being the Dining hall and courtyard, the Teaching section, the Extracuricular section, and the Dorms.


The Dining Hall is a large building that's inside greatly resembles a church without pews. It has a large arched ceiling decorated with intricate marble sculptures. There are many different food options to comply with all diets, as well as a large courtyard with many sculptures and food trucks. In the courtyard there are also benches and large rocks to sit on. Between the courtyard and the park is a small coffee shoppe called Silent Forest Cafe. It serves all sorts of coffee and pastries as well as small sandwiches. Its a popular hang out spot.

The Teaching Halls are very diverse and specified for each subject. Since there are a lot of different subjects use your imagination on how the studios look for your characters as long as it's about classroom sized. Built into the teaching halls is a huge library.

The Extracuricular sections include a large park containing a small pond with an island in the middle. It is very modern but also in touch with nature in hopes to provide students with inspiration and a calm and serene place to study. There is also a gym building similar to any other gym. It includes exersise machines, weights, a track, a indoor pool, and many free yoga and other classes. To the side of the park is a small area where bonfires can be lit containing a few various scultures and benches. There are several 'free libraries' in the park.

The Dorms are seperated by orientation and gender vaugely. Students that can be paired together will be, however students that experience attraction to both genders will be roomed alone. In order for this to work decently students need to include roomate specific information in their applications. Dorms that contain two people have a base floor and a loft.
The base floor contains a small kitchen {not really for cooking} with a small dining table, a couch, a television, two seperate chairs and a coffee table in the main room, as well as a washroom
The loft is one room with a small staircase leading up to it. They include a single bed or futon, a small table, and a small armchair. Each will also have their own washer and drier and any decorations or small furniture the student brings.

Boo has two modes, one is her casual self, very flirtatious, a little shy mixed with a little confidence, and very, very loving to her friends. He other attitude happens when she gets PO'd and makes her very unagreeable, mean, and incredibly protective. This comes from her holding emotions to maintain a calm exterior but it get's very overwhelming to the point where anything can tick her off. She is unpredictable, like a dormant mine and can put on different attitudes at any time to maintain her emotional sanity. Boo is very scared of commitment and will therefore not get into a romantic and committed relationship.

Personality: Courageous and respectable, but also harsh. Most times, he comes off as unfriendly, because he likes to mind his own business and keep to himself in social settings, but if one were to speak to him he would always be kind. He is brutally honest, and one of his less good traits is that he never often stops to smell the roses. He likes to work and be doing things rather than sitting around, and because of this he often doesn't appreciate the little things in life until they slap him in the face. He has an odd sense of humor, and is incredibly sarcastic.
Short history: Emon had an average childhood, growing up as an only child- never was the best in school, but he managed, and never had tons of friends, but he liked it that way. He grew up in a nice house, not with tons of money to throw around, but he survived comfortably. He takes after his Dad, who also had the same interest in the arts. His hard-working attitude, especially when it includes schooling and jobs, comes from being raised in a household where schooling is taught to be incredibly important, and his parents were very strict on him to try his best and pay attention. It has always stuck with him. He moved far away from his small group of friends to follow his dreams and study in this university. His scar is from a fight he had when he was about 17- let's just say someone had a knife on them, and it got quite ugly. He is also blind in that eye. That's the only interesting that's ever really happened to him.
Subject They Study: English Language and Literature. He dabbles in a bit of guitar playing as well (Acoustic and Electronic), but it's more of a hobby rather than anything serious.
Job Currently unemployed, looking for a job.
Other: As a note, he has a small tattoo (that I have yet to put on an updated reference) on the upper side of his wrist that features a black and white sun next to a brightly coloured sun- its in memory of the friends he left when he moved. "They always lit up my world, like the sun. At least, that was the first thing I could think of. Maybe I should've went with a lightbulb... I got two though because they always told me that "Not everything's black and white. Sometimes it is, but not always." It's not so much a inspiring quote, but I like it. It's taught me a lot."

Short history:
Nasco was an odd child. As a tot, she seemed to be more of a hinderance to her parents than the bundle of joy one expects a child to be. A pair of gifted archaeologists, they were always on the move and a baby bird, as high maintenance as they are, didn't make for any easy journeys. She wasn't neglected or abused by any means, but as far as actual bonding goes, she received the bare minimum to stay sane.

By the time she was a preteen, she was fending for herself when her folks were on an expedition - and not to her dismay. As it would be unwise to leave even a very independent child alone for months at a time, she tagged along with them to whatever obscure country they were sent to for research. While they would dig and catalogue their finds, the curious young avian would poke around in the surrounding areas. At the age of twelve, she was brought into a cave by her parents where she discovered her one true love: gems. They fascinated her, how man different types could form and how long it took the earth to perfect the precious stones. Her head was in the clouds from then on - or rather, the rocks.

Every young adventurer must have some tragedy that drives them, however. Our sweet protagonist experienced hers but four years ago at the tender age of fourteen. With Nasco so absorbed in her studies and her ever distant lifegivers in theirs, child was separated from parent. It wasn't until nightfall that anyone noticed the blunder. Despite the frantic searching that both parties began to do, the girl and her folks made the fatal error of panicking. Due to none of the involved staying put, they stayed separated for good. Luckily, she had gotten lost in a more forgiving area and amassed countless survival techniques by the time she got lost, so keeping alive until she could stumble her way into a small town, tired, slightly malnourished, and scraped up by thorns and tree branches but otherwise unharmed.

She did spend some time torn up over the loss of her family, but the emotional wound faded to a dull sting quickly due to her never having a very strong connection to them in the first place. With quick wit and enough gems and trinkets to trade for her basic needs, she was back to her home country within two and a half years. She was tougher than before and chock full of experience. Slightly bitter about her parents "abandoning" her, Nasco made little effort to find them and instead focused more energy than ever honing her craft.
