- a starbit is a alien like creature they don't originate from any planet in particular. Starbits are lightning fast, they can fly and float where ever they want and love to play around. They are called starbits because each time a star is born so is a starbit, and they carry a bit of that star that they were born from and keep it with them forever. The bit of the star is used to hold their cloak together, its basically used as a clip. Their star has more use than a clip on though, it contains magical powers based on their rarity, commoners have simple powers, rarer ones have more extreme powers, these can range from moving objects with their mind, controlling weather (in planet range), to even controlling the rotation of planets! Join them in their journey across the cosmos! -

Rules!

be respectful to everyone
dont steal copy trace or resell any starbits for any currency
dont steal anyone else's starbit or the design
don't spam on this thread or anywhere relating to starbits
you can own as many starbits as you want
if you don't want your starbit anymore you can gift it to a friend or ask me to put it for re-adoption you may NOT sell it
you can make small revamps to your starbit's design with the artists permission
please don't make your own or make customs for yourself or anyone else
don't copy off anyone's forms in contests
please do not argue with the judge about their decision on picking the winner unless you have a very good and valid reason
If you don't follow these rules I will warn you about it but if it goes too far I will ban you from this species

Rarities

Rarity Roles

- the common starbits (ones who wander in space) have an important role in this chapter to watch over the solar system while the others are exploring the planets -




-uncommon starbits ensure the explorers' safety by sitting on the clouds above and give them warnings about what might be ahead, they also give them messages from the starbits in space, the uncommon starbits disguise themselves by laying flat on their stomach so their star shines through the cloud and humans can easily dismiss it as a simple star in the sky, they only do this at night when the sky gets dark, in the day they simply hop cloud to cloud following explores around-



-the rare starbits are rare because there can only be a few chosen starbits to explore earth because if there were too many they could be spotted by humans. Rare starbits are known as the 'explorers' since they gather data and material from the planet that they are exploring while doing this they recieve warnings and messages from the uncommon starbits, they call them the 'guards', they also have to have a breathing bulb on their head because they can't breathe oxygen and due to the excessive light on Earth their stars don't glow unless its night.

Nifi



Whoops! Almost forgot to mention Nifi! Nifi is the starbit who discovered the planet "Earth" and led the colony here! Nifi is currently leading this whole exploration so just call him over if you have any questions!

The Story So Far...

short intro

Far far away near the center of space, traces of starbits stand in place
It was this riddle that captured Nifi's mind, it took him a while but soon enough he realized it meant the race of starbits have not been expanding nor finding a home in the countless years that they've existed, it was time to go past boundaries and find a home planet. Nifi had flew back to his colony and announced he was going off to find a place they could call home, "Everyone, its silly that I have been motivated to this journey by a riddle in a fiction book but what it speaks is true! I believe we have to expand and I'm off to find a home planet!" he said loud and proud, some giggled under their breath and rolled their eyes but with in a matter of minutes he went off blasting into the seemingly emptiness of space. Its been already 10 months now, but Nifi simply refused to give up, he totally would its just that it would be really embarrassing going back empty handed, he's been traveling so far that he has even dashed across a galaxy starbits thought was a myth! Andromeda, sadly there was no suitable planet there, they were all populated or they were just gas planets, growing tired after two whole years, on the outskirts of Andromeda, he stopped and stared at the brilliance of one of the galaxies not too far away from this one, it was stunning to him, "That's it, that's the one" he said to himself, he wasn't evens sure at all if it had the home planet he was so desperately looking for but he just thought the galaxy was really pretty and gave himself false hope, but surprisingly, while skimming through the spiral galaxy he found a star system in the mid-outskirts, it was a perfect distance from the center, he saw the yellow glare of a star within the star system and knew for sure it was a perfect size comparing to the other two, he went in to have a look, and the planets closest to this average star were perfect! The best one was Earth, problem was, it was populated, he knew he would have to find a way to sneak the colony in there. It took Nifi 6 months to travel all the way back to the colony, he presented a description of the planet he was planning to colonize and explore everyone was so excited that they followed him into the distance without thinking, the consequences for that are yet to come...
