dan swept his fringe to the side with a hand idly, although the rain was beginning to plaster it to the side of his head. perhaps it would be best if he headed in soon. as soon as he saw her, he recognised her. his mind was divided. wouldn't it be in his best interests to stay as far away from his old school enemies as possible? yet it seemed rude to just ignore her completely. there was no right answer, and it tore him apart. "... aspyn?" he questioned, jumping back down from the wall and facing her back, as she had started to walk away, albeit slowly. it had been ages since he had been in contact with anybody who wasn't remotely connected with a youtuber, and he couldn't say he had wanted to run into one of his old school bullies. perhaps it was a chance to show how much he had changed. that he was definitely worth something and she had been wrong all those years ago. yes, this was definitely to show aspyn how much he had changed. how important he was now. immediately after settling his thoughts, dan felt himself growing a little bit more confident. good.

upon hearing the fellow call her name, she stopped in her tracks, although she already was, and turned around, slowly making eye contact with him,"yes?" she peeped, quietly gulping. she figured this was going to be a waste of someone's time, or something she regretted, as in highschool she'd regularly push his buttons, or worse. she figured that he was going to confront her about it, or even reciprocate it. she silently wished that this wasn't happening, or that it was a dream, but surely it wasn't a dream. why was she so afraid of meeting another person in highschool, anyways? aspyn really ended up regretting her highschool years, thinking she was the best and such, although, she'd never regretted it as much as she'd really only let her crude side show. of course, highschool was only about the (cute) popular boys, and remaining popular to her. upon leaving her thoughts, she shook her head lightly, looking at her feet for a few brief moments.

hearing her voice brought back more memories until they were almost flooding his senses, blocking him out from the world.. endless teasing, harsh words, they were all there. dan could remember them clearly, and he'd definitely never let go of them. "so it is you," he said casually, shaking his head slightly, a slight smirk gracing his features. 'i thought so. after all, it'd be kind of hard to forget about you, after all the years of history we have." dan narrowed his eyes slightly. he wasn't very annoyed yet, but he was definitely being slightly spiteful. now the tables had turned, and it did please him greatly. perhaps he would forgive her eventually. wasn't it a little silly to be holding grudges from high school, anyway? "so," he started, leaning back on the wall as the rain battered down on him. "what are you doing now that there are no innocent boys to bully?'

she slowly nodded to his conversation, then sighed yet again, not entirely knowing what to say,"yeah, it's me.." she spoke, mildly mumbling. she briefly looked around, hating the awkward tension between the air. "ahah, very funny." she started to answer his question, the decided to not answer his question in great detail,"nothing spectacular" she answered, trying to hold conversation, despite her not really wanting to,"you?" she added, although she already practically knew the answer. she figured that she'd just ask, so she didn't seem like one of those creepy stalkers, because she wasn't. well, maybe she would occasionally look up the fellow, but, it'd been ages since she actually cared to.

dan nodded, inwardly quite pleased that she seemed to be doing almost nothing with her life since they had finished school, and immediately felt guilty for feeling that way. he was beginning to think he should let it go, even if he didn't want to. "i'm a youtuber and a radio presenter, although i doubt that you were really asking that question," he pointed out, reading her emotions quite well, as he had gotten used to it by hanging around other youtubers. "good job at trying to make a nice conversation, though," he mentioned, smiling slightly. "goes to show that the 'popular kids' aren't always the only people who matter in this world,"

I was relaxing in the large house I stayed in with my bestfriend. Kian's Labrador Hazel held a chewy squeaky bone in his mouth. I stroked the yellow canine and pushed myself from t he couch. The ding of the oven was a bit startled but it was definately food so I headed towards the kitchen. I pulled the oven door open to reveal chicken nuggets Kian had most likely made. "they throw themselves at me, disappointed when i turn them down. i'm not the failure you always made me out to be."
