you are having a normal day. going to work, chatting with your friends, eating and then sleeping. however perhaps today is not so normal after all. you lost contact with a lot of the old people who went to your school a long time ago, so you are then surprised to turn on the internet and stumble across youtube to see that they've made it. the person you supported through the first few months of their youtube channel is still doing well, and has actually managed to make it their full time job. you can still remember the joy it would bring them when they got another subscriber, no matter how small the number. you remember clearly the days they spend editing and filming, and how they started to ignore you. you remember fading out of contact with them, and slowly forgetting those times, only to have them now shoved back in your face. now all anybody is talking about is them. it makes you sick. then everything changes, and you find yourself bumping into them once more, and they remember you and the times you had together. is there a possible hope for rekindling the friendship you had, and even turning it into something more?

dan tilted his head upward as the rain hit his face, running down his neck and considerably dampening his hair. he had been having a somewhat rough and busy day, with planning new videos, the book and the tour. therefore it had been an incredibly unwelcome surprise when he and phil had argued. the argument had ended with dan leaving the apartment, needing a bit of space to cool down, even if he would eventually go back to his flat. he was currently sat on a wall in town, and all he was doing was listening to the sound of the rain that hit him. it was strangely calming. he knew somebody as well known as he was shouldn't be out alone, but he couldn't help it. he was alone and defenceless, if anybody cared, he was an easy target right now.
